A project of the San Juan College Fine Arts Committee 1 The Fine Arts Committee at San Juan College was established in 1983 to encourage and support cultural activities at San Juan College and the community. Members of the committee participate in the local arts scene, establishing a strong tradition in the community. Because of my concentration on these two things, I do not have recitals nor encourage participation in competitions. I believe all students can work at their own pace and according to their ability. In order to develop these skills in the student, the parent, student, and teacher must work together purposefully and thoughtfully.
