Scroll down under Departments to Recreation and
you will see the Recreation Guide. Click on Winter
2015 to begin registration.
Dear Arts Council Supporter,
Thank you for your continued support: we appreciate your participation and ongoing efforts
in supporting the arts in Rexburg. As a valued supporter, we would like to keep you informed
and involved in what we have going on. This Winter will be an exciting season!
First, the Romance Theater will be showing family-friendly movies, priced at only fifty-cents
every Wednesday night at 7:00 pm. Upper Valley Idol will return to the Romance Theater for
its 11th Season this winter. We also look forward to the Rexburg Community Theatre’s upcoming production of And Then There Were None.
We have launched a new online ticketing system which will allow you to purchase tickets,
packages, memberships and more from your computer, cell phone or tablet. For more
information or tickets for any of these productions visit rexburg.org/arts.

Buy Tickets for the 2015 Season
Register for an account: If you have not yet
registered for an account in previous seasons,
click the “Register” button beneath the “Member
Sign In” section on the right side of the screen.
After filling out the registration form, you can
continue to register for classes as listed below. If
you have an account with the registration system,
please log in and continue.
Finding Activities: On the home page, you will
see most activities listed beneath each category
head, such as Youth Team Sports, Individual
Sports, Classes, etc…. If not all of the activities are
listed, click “More” at the bottom of each category.
Click on the activity that you are interested in. After
navigating through pages to find the specific age
category and time you would like to register for,
a screen will show you the class dates, time, and
availability.
Registering: If you want to register for a class,
click on the “Register” button on the bottom right
hand corner of the Class Details screen. After
clicking Register on the bottom of this page, you
will see your shopping cart. You can search for and
add more activities to your cart, or you can choose
to checkout using any of these major credit cards.
If you are unable to pay by credit, you can come
in to City Hall with check or cash to register for
activities.
REGISTRATION POLICY
The Great Bear Folk Theatre
1.Parent or guardian must register all participants under the age of 18.
2. All fees must be paid at time of registration.
3.Registration is only available online at
www.rexburg.org. (There is a computer at City Hall available for those who do not have access to the Internet.)
LATE REGISTRATION
A $5 fee will be assessed for all late registrations.
Late registration for non-team activities will be
accepted from January 6th to 7 days before
start of the activity or the activity is filled. Late
registration for team sports will also be accepted
beginning January 6th, however, when teams are
established, individuals who register late will be
placed on a waiting list and added to rosters based
on availability.
PROGRAM REFUND POLICY
Volunteer coaches are needed!
Volunteer coaches will be refunded one (1) child’s
registration fee in the sport in which he/she
coached. Refunds will be given at the end of the
season.
Activity refunds will be granted if the request
is received five (5) working days prior to the
scheduled start of the activity.
A $5 fee will be assessed. For classes taught by
instructors, refund requests received within the
five (5) days before the start of the class will NOT
receive a refund. If the Recreation Department
cancels or reschedules an activity (i.e. low class
registration or facility conflicts), a full refund will be
granted.
SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM
Need-based scholarships are available for
Rexburg Residents. Applications can be filled
out at City Hall. Please contact the Recreation
Department for details.
NON-RESIDENT FEE
The Rexburg Parks and Recreation Department is
funded by city tax dollars. A $5 fee is assessed to
non-resident participants to offset the cost to city
tax payers.
PHOTOS & VIDEO
The Recreation Department reserves the right to
take photos and videos of individuals participating
in team sports and programs.
The department may use the photos in upcoming
recreation guides or promotional advertising
without paying compensation to any individual
or entity for the likeness, image, name, and/or
signature of any adult or their child in photographic
or other works appearing in any and all media
(presently known).

Beginners Cross Country Ski Clinic
If you have always wanted to give cross
country skiing a chance now is the time. We
will have two family clinic days in January.
You must provide your own equipment
(equipment can be rented at the ORC at
Brigham Young University-Idaho).
Come out and give it a try. We will have
instructors there to help all ages. Make it a
family night out and come out and enjoy the
snow.

Dribble, shoot, and play in our girls’
basketball league! Your daughter can
learn the fundamentals of the sport while

This class is an energy packed class
learning jazz dancing through different
isolations, footwork, and combination
routines. They will learn basic jazz
rhythms and musicality as well through
different song styles.
Ages 9 - 12
Come experience this fun, invigorating
ballet Barre class. It’s designed
to develop long lean muscles by
conditioning and toning the entire
body! This workout blends classical
ballet exercises, Pilates and traditional
conditioning movements to develop

Kidz in Motion is a fun & energetic class Ages 3-5
for toddlers and preschoolers. While
participating in this class, your child will
be introduced to basic tumbling skills and Session 1
other gross motor activities as well as
explore motion through actions and song. Dates
Does your preschooler or kindergartener
have wiggle to spare? This class will use
fun music, stories, games, and props to
introduce ballet and jazz basics, rhythm,
and artistry. With two possible times to
choose from, it’s a perfect fit with morning
or afternoon kindergarten.
Let’s sing, twirl, and jump for joy! This
class is focused on having fun while
using rhymes, songs, and games to
explore the many ways our bodies can

Babysitting Course
Beginners Photography
Class
Kari Airth is the mother of 5 children and
a certified preschool teacher. She is
currently the director of the preschool at
Adams Elementary School and is also
adjunct faculty in the Home and Family
Department at BYU-Idaho where she
teaches Child Development classes.
We will cover basic camera information,
terms, and lighting. Part lecture, part
hands on workshop with posing, etc
so students can practice what they’ve
learned. Preferred camera with Manual
settings as we will be teaching you how
to get out of ‘Auto’ mode.
This course will cover the important
things to know when babysitting.
Students will learn the basics of caring
for children’s needs, nutrition, CPR for
children, and having fun with the little
ones they care for, as they create games
and perfect their playing skills! This
course will prepare young babysitters
and give them confidence to work with
children
