Directions
On US Hwy 98 (heading East) turn onto SR30-A, travel to SR30-E, turn right. Just after passing
the Air Force Testing area, turn left onto Cape San Blas Light Drive. The lighthouse and beach
are at the end of the road. The marsh is behind the BP station on the right hand side of 30E
(Cape San Blas Road).

Directions
To get to Carrabelle, head east on 98 from Eastpoint. The
lighthouse is at the public beach on your approach to Carrabelle,
Uncle Kenny’s en route, and Mrs. Scarlett and 2 Al’s are at the
last right hand turn before you go over the bridge into Carrabelle.

Directions
From the junction of US Hwy 98 and Hwy 386, travel west through Mexico Beach 4.6 miles.
Turn left into Crooked Island East facility. The dunes and water are at the end of the road
(approx. 1 mile). The marshy area is on the right approx .4 miles in after the turn into the facility
- hard packed sand road.

Directions:
Take 98 east across the bridge from Apalachicola to Eastpoint and continue through town. The
address is 500 Highway 98 and it will be on your right.

Directions
Traveling east on US Hwy 98, take Hwy 30-A towards Cape San Blas. After a couple of miles,
you will cross a low bridge and enter Simmons Bayou. About 5 more miles down the road,
closer to the turnoff to Cape San Blas is the St. Joe Bay Buffer and Aquatic Preserve. Turn right
into the center.

The state park is located at the far end of Cape San Blas On US Hwy 98 (heading East) turn
onto SR30-A, travel to SR30-E, turn right and travel to the end of the road. From Apalachicola,
take US 98 West, turn left on C-30A, then turn left on C-30E and travel to park.

Directions
Off of US Hwy 98 turn north onto Hwy 386 and travel 20 miles and turn left (north) onto Hwy 71 or from Port St.
Joe, turn directly on to Hwy. 71.
Dead Lakes on Lake Grove Road & Cox Landing – From the 386/71 intersection, travel 1.8 miles, turn right on
Lake Grove Road (at Swampy’s Restaurant). Travel 1.8 miles (keep on road as it curves to left). Cox Landing is on
the right. Immediately past Cox Landing is a bridge overlooking Dead Lakes.
Dead Lakes Park – From the 386/71 intersection, travel 3.9 miles. Turn right onto Gary Powell Road and travel to
end of road. (The turn is the next road after passing New Harvest Fellowship Church and is marked by a small blue
state park sign).
