Prince Hubert de Polignac
When savoir-vivre meets savoir-faire
Prince Hubert de Polignac, heir of a famous French aristocratic family, began his successful
career as a foreign trade minister at a young age. Recognized by his peers as a perfectionist
and an extremely skilful diplomat, the Prince was destined for great achements. The Prince,
with his ‘savoir-vivre’, and H.Mounier, guaranteeing the ancient ‘savoir-faire’, joined forces on
January 21st, 1947, to create the world-famous brand cognac, Prince Hubert de Polignac.
As a passionate epicurean and informed amateur of cognac, he was already the perfect
ambassador of the spirit when attending high society dinners.
The Polignac quality and style
Specially crafted in conjunction with a talented team of more than 250 grape growers from
prime areas, it quickly became a highly respected cognac house, gifted in the art of cellar
mastering skilfully aged eaux de vie.
Our cognac house still elaborates these cognacs respecting the Prince Hubert de Polignac
legacy. Perpetuated as an art, all its unusually old cognacs are blended by the Cellar Master
with nobleness and tradition whilst respecting its contemporary style.

The XO from the Prince Hubert de Polignac range adorns itself with an amber robe of vintage
gold, characteristic of its maturity. A rich and complex bouquet reveals autumnal notes of wood

Héritage du Prince is an exceptional blend of four eaux-de-vie coming from Grande Champagne,

Its warm and voluptuous amber colour, its long and complex aromatic long lastingness carries

of our time as a bespoke handmade trunk that shows its owners’ passion. Combining the
