Calluna PROGR AMME AUTUMN 2016 - Quality since 1946 - 70 Years NURSERY MELLE Dear Sir or Madam, valued business partners, 2016 marks an outstanding year for the nursery Melle, since we are celebrating our 70th anniversary. Seven decades, three generations and a lot of change and progress that transformed our nursery into what it is today. We experienced many wonderful moments as well as cruel strokes of fate.Therefore, we want to thank you for your loyalty during all these years of collaboration and especially during the hard times. As a team and with your support we have successfully managed the changes in operations and structure. Thus, we are highly motivated to face the challenges the future has in place. We used the anniversary year as an opportunity to create an image film about the nursery Melle, which will be released this summer. A trailer can already be found on our website and Facebook page. We also created a special design of our spring programme to honor the anniversary year. Moreover, we offer you a high-quality range of heather with new color compositions as well as a very special highlight, which is presented on the next page. But first, let’s review the autumn season 2015. Altogether, it was a very satisfactory and pleasant season for everyone involved. That also includes our Gardengirls®, which once more convinced with quality, volume and durability. Especially the additions to our range like the Sunset-Line and Katja® have enjoyed outstanding popularity. Due to growing demand we increased the units of our peat-free Calluna in the 12-unit-pots, and from now on we will also have this product in our permanent range of goods. Together with our customers we made the experience that a combination package of Unis, Twins and Trios yielded the most satisfying outcome. Since it always is of special interest for us to cultivate appealing color compositions, we would be pleased with your ideas and suggestions for improvement. Happily, we will create your assortment for the upcoming season together with you. You are also always welcome to visit our nursery Melle personally. A completely new cultivation makes it possible to twine differently colored spouts to create a unique color interplay. All plants are equipped with a rod-shaped etiquette presenting information and care tips. This year, Twister-Girls® will be available in 13-, 15- and 17-unit pots.
