Mission
GELCO is a customer-oriented company operating in the professional
electronics sector, both nationally and internationally.
GELCO is specialised in offering design, engineering, production and testing services at the highest levels of experience and technology, in the defence as well as professional sectors.
The company operates in various fields of electronics, from the defence
sector (avionic, marine, land) to the professional sector (electro-medical,
automotive, communications, aerospace).
GELCO numbers:
• established in 1981
• operates in premises of 2000 sq.m. located in the industrial area of
Viterbo.
• There are approx. 50 employees, of which 4 work in R&D. The organization is modern and flexible
GELCO was certified (ISO 9002-94) in 1999 and since 2003 is in conformity with regulation ISO 9001:2008 (CSQ/IMQ certification).
In 2013 GELCO is working to get the AS 9100 certification.

Employes
1981: Start of Gelco activities, engaged to the
design and supply of electronic equipment,
and marketing of aircraft components.
1981: Installation of the first production unit
in Viterbo (300m2).
1986: Transfer to a second plant of 1,000m2,
where the means of production were expanded, and the first wiring department
was incorporated.
1999: Gelco obtained the ISO 9002:1994,
certification
2003: Certification for standard ISO 9001
(CSQ/IMQ certification).
2008: Creation of the subsidiary High Engineering S.r.l for Space Design and development activity.
