Originally to accommodate JAM2000,
a well established of 20 years successful
Performing Arts School and Solar System,
an Events & Productions company, The
Windmill Studio, known then as Windmill
Hall, was in great need of repair. With a
complete inside refurbishment ‘The Windmill
Studio’ was born!
With years of experience in the entertainment
industry, Judy McPhee and her motivated team
set to work in making The Windmill Studio
more than a Performing Arts School and began
creating other activities for all ages in a safe, clean,
warm, friendly and professional environment.
In May 2010, the opportunity to take over
the running of the building next door, with
many treatment rooms and two fitness and
dance studios for hire, became available. This
allowed The Windmill Studio to become
a ‘Centre’ offering the very highest level of
amenities through a wide variety of activities,
treatments, meetings and training.
The Windmill Studio Centre is here for
you and your family. Our aim is for you
to enjoy whatever you do here and the
only problem we foresee…

Exercise is also part of leading a healthy lifestyle and as you

URBAN JAZZ FUSION
Available from 4 years upwards, this exciting subject for male and female covers all aspects of modern dance
and music of today, it is a ‘fusion’ of exciting and explosive dance styles which includes Hip Hop, Street,
Jazz and Musical Theatre. Even though a very modern and versatile style it does involve training in technique,
stretching, movement, rhythm as well as dance in general. Great for fitness, strength and discipline plus
a lot of fun! This is available for children, teenagers as well as adults.
TAP
At JAM2000 we prove that tap can be choreographed to modern contemporary music as well as traditional
and is very popular with all ages male and female. Tap is intricate and often looks easier than what it
actually is, but whatever your age, all tap classes have assistants on hand where required. This is also a
great way to keep fit as it is a tap version of aerobics! Tap classes are available from 4 years upwards.
DRAMA
We have a brilliant Drama Department here at JAM2000 with mixed classes available from 6 years
upwards. This is not only a very popular subject but is excellent to help boost confidence for life in general
as well as enhancing everyone’s acting ability covering all aspects of drama for stage, screen and television.
Attending drama classes at JAM2000 is certainly an advantage if signing up to the Agency.
JAM Splats!
Designed for pre-school children aged 21⁄2 - 4 years, boys and girls, this wonderful class is the next step-up from
JAMtots, as parents hand over their child leaving them to become little independents, learning and expressing
through Performing Arts fun!
URBAN JAZZ FUSION ON WHEELS
This class was created especially for children with physical disabilities who may be wheelchair bound or
otherwise. Not only does this class enhance their physical ability but it also brings enormous pleasure and
joy to the children involved as well as parents or carers alike, who also participate in bringing this wonderful
class to life. Classes are available for children aged 7-13 years.
UNIFORM & DANCEWEAR
Uniform is compulsory in all subjects from pre-school children up to and including children in year 6.
Everything is available here at JAM2000 headquarters at competitive prices. From Year 7 upwards
suitable clothing for all subjects must be worn that does not restrict any movement. However,
for all dance subjects professional dance shoes must be worn throughout whatever age.
JAM2000 PRODUCTIONS
Every year JAM2000 strives to work towards a production, one year ‘Dance’ for all dance attending pupils
and the other ‘Drama & Film’ for all drama attending pupils. These are always held during the October
school half term in appropriate venues.
All productions are very well organised and extra costs for costumes, extra rehearsals together with details
concerning rehearsal and performance dates are given well in advance. Payments for any extra costs are
spread out over a period of 10 months - 1 year which enables everyone to participate. We can assure you
they are worth every penny! We do not enter examinations or competitions. DVD’s of past productions to
view are available upon request.
DANCE PRODUCTIONS
JAM2000 Dance Productions are huge spectaculars that incorporate amazing costumes, exciting music,
with fast and creative choreography which are often described as a ‘West End’ quality style production!

These are on a much smaller scale to our Dance Productions but still very entertaining with costumes,
music, lighting and scripts carefully written for all drama pupils attending. Performing a live and creative
stage production during the first act, this production also includes a film premiere with a starring cast from
JAM2000 that would have been written, filmed and carefully edited over a period of 6 months which is
shown during the second act. This truly gives everyone involved a great opportunity to experience different
methods of acting for stage, screen and television.
PRODUCTION DVD’s & PHOTOGRAPHS
All productions are carefully filmed and photographed by our professional Camera Crew with everything
available to purchase after each production. These are not only a wonderful keepsake but also an
opportunity for all JAM2000 pupils to watch, enjoy and learn.

Professional and friendly, JAMtots is an interactive
daytime activity play group centre for parents or childminders

JAMtots’ is open Monday – Friday every week apart from
Bank Holidays, Christmas and possibly 2 weeks in the
summer holidays when we have Holiday Workshops available
for older children. During most school holidays our JAMtots
timetable may slightly change but certain sessions will

JAMtots is based in the ‘Listed’ part of our building and is
clean, fun and friendly with a variety of activities available on
a ‘pay as you go’ basis. If preferred, you have an option to buy
a 5 session card which gives you the 6th session free and can
be used over an 8 week period. This card allows you entrance
for Musical Tots & Gym Tots. Even though we have a JAMtots
Leader running every session, all parents or childminders are
responsible for their own children at all times. No membership
fee required.
The entrance to JAMtots is through the older part of the
building where the ramp, green railings and door are situated
which makes it easy access for buggies. Just push the buzzer
on the right and someone will open the door to greet you. You
will be instructed on where to park your buggy and as we are
a clutter free studio, we have ample hanging facilities for coats
in our lobby area. Please note, buggies are not permitted in the
actual studio where the sessions are held.

We have three weekly social gatherings available for you to meet other
parents/childminders with babies and toddlers. Let your child discover
free play and sharing with others. A variety of toys changed weekly.

MUSICAL Tots
Whether for babies or confident walkers, Musical Tots is a fun interactive
music group between the parent/childminder and child, using a variety of
different props not only musical but also expressive. This is a wonderful
introduction to music, movement and rhythm. JAMtots also have their
own album available! Please ask at reception.
GYM Tots
Gym Tots has a variety of suitable gym equipment including soft play and
other apparatus which will enhance your child’s physical development.
STORY TIME WITH JIMMY THE JAMtots BEAR
This “one off” session, held on the last Wednesday of each month, is the
only JAMtots session that you do need to book and pay for in advance.
This is suitable for walkers - 4 years as children can enjoy soft play, a little
bit of creativity, snack and drink plus a special musically fun story time with
Jimmy the JAMtots Bear. A different story book is chosen for each session.

These are creative one-off sessions held during school holidays for walkers

JAMtots’ is open Monday – Friday every week apart from
Bank Holidays, Christmas and possibly 2 weeks in the
summer holidays when we have Holiday Workshops available
for older children. During most school holidays our JAMtots
timetable may slightly change but certain sessions will

JAMtots is based in the ‘Listed’ part of our building and is
clean, fun and friendly with a variety of activities available on
a ‘pay as you go’ basis. If preferred, you have an option to buy
a 5 session card which gives you the 6th session free and can
be used over an 8 week period. This card allows you entrance
for Musical Tots & Gym Tots. Even though we have a JAMtots
Leader running every session, all parents or childminders are
responsible for their own children at all times. No membership
fee required.
The entrance to JAMtots is through the older part of the
building where the ramp, green railings and door are situated
which makes it easy access for buggies. Just push the buzzer
on the right and someone will open the door to greet you. You
will be instructed on where to park your buggy and as we are
a clutter free studio, we have ample hanging facilities for coats
in our lobby area. Please note, buggies are not permitted in the
actual studio where the sessions are held.

Open 6 days a week with late opening times, means we have
flexibility to cater for those working long hours.

We also have rooms and studios to hire suitable for
treatments, private consultations, interviews, meetings,
trainings, photo shoots & adult classes in fitness and dance.

Exercise is also part of leading a healthy lifestyle and as you
will see from our Adult Timetable within this brochure, we
have a wide selection of daytime and evening Adult Classes
and Courses to choose from with our professional qualified
team of fitness instructors and dancers.
URBAN JAZZ FUSION
Available from 4 years upwards, this exciting subject for male and female covers all aspects of modern dance
and music of today, it is a ‘fusion’ of exciting and explosive dance styles which includes Hip Hop, Street,
Jazz and Musical Theatre. Even though a very modern and versatile style it does involve training in technique,
stretching, movement, rhythm as well as dance in general. Great for fitness, strength and discipline plus
a lot of fun! This is available for children, teenagers as well as adults.
TAP
At JAM2000 we prove that tap can be choreographed to modern contemporary music as well as traditional
and is very popular with all ages male and female. Tap is intricate and often looks easier than what it
actually is, but whatever your age, all tap classes have assistants on hand where required. This is also a
great way to keep fit as it is a tap version of aerobics! Tap classes are available from 4 years upwards.
DRAMA
We have a brilliant Drama Department here at JAM2000 with mixed classes available from 6 years
upwards. This is not only a very popular subject but is excellent to help boost confidence for life in general
as well as enhancing everyone’s acting ability covering all aspects of drama for stage, screen and television.
Attending drama classes at JAM2000 is certainly an advantage if signing up to the Agency.
JAM Splats!
Designed for pre-school children aged 21⁄2 - 4 years, boys and girls, this wonderful class is the next step-up from
JAMtots, as parents hand over their child leaving them to become little independents, learning and expressing
through Performing Arts fun!
URBAN JAZZ FUSION ON WHEELS
This class was created especially for children with physical disabilities who may be wheelchair bound or
otherwise. Not only does this class enhance their physical ability but it also brings enormous pleasure and
joy to the children involved as well as parents or carers alike, who also participate in bringing this wonderful
class to life. Classes are available for children aged 7-13 years.
UNIFORM & DANCEWEAR
Uniform is compulsory in all subjects from pre-school children up to and including children in year 6.
Everything is available here at JAM2000 headquarters at competitive prices. From Year 7 upwards
suitable clothing for all subjects must be worn that does not restrict any movement. However,
for all dance subjects professional dance shoes must be worn throughout whatever age.
JAM2000 PRODUCTIONS
Every year JAM2000 strives to work towards a production, one year ‘Dance’ for all dance attending pupils
and the other ‘Drama & Film’ for all drama attending pupils. These are always held during the October
school half term in appropriate venues.
All productions are very well organised and extra costs for costumes, extra rehearsals together with details
concerning rehearsal and performance dates are given well in advance. Payments for any extra costs are
spread out over a period of 10 months - 1 year which enables everyone to participate. We can assure you
they are worth every penny! We do not enter examinations or competitions. DVD’s of past productions to
view are available upon request.
DANCE PRODUCTIONS
JAM2000 Dance Productions are huge spectaculars that incorporate amazing costumes, exciting music,
with fast and creative choreography which are often described as a ‘West End’ quality style production!

These are on a much smaller scale to our Dance Productions but still very entertaining with costumes,
music, lighting and scripts carefully written for all drama pupils attending. Performing a live and creative
stage production during the first act, this production also includes a film premiere with a starring cast from
JAM2000 that would have been written, filmed and carefully edited over a period of 6 months which is
shown during the second act. This truly gives everyone involved a great opportunity to experience different
methods of acting for stage, screen and television.
PRODUCTION DVD’s & PHOTOGRAPHS
All productions are carefully filmed and photographed by our professional Camera Crew with everything
available to purchase after each production. These are not only a wonderful keepsake but also an
opportunity for all JAM2000 pupils to watch, enjoy and learn.

Originally to accommodate JAM2000,
a well established of 20 years successful
Performing Arts School and Solar System,
an Events & Productions company, The
Windmill Studio, known then as Windmill
Hall, was in great need of repair. With a
complete inside refurbishment ‘The Windmill
Studio’ was born!
With years of experience in the entertainment
industry, Judy McPhee and her motivated team
set to work in making The Windmill Studio
more than a Performing Arts School and began
creating other activities for all ages in a safe, clean,
warm, friendly and professional environment.
In May 2010, the opportunity to take over
the running of the building next door, with
many treatment rooms and two fitness and
dance studios for hire, became available. This
allowed The Windmill Studio to become
a ‘Centre’ offering the very highest level of
amenities through a wide variety of activities,
treatments, meetings and training.
The Windmill Studio Centre is here for
you and your family. Our aim is for you
to enjoy whatever you do here and the
only problem we foresee…
