The Tillery Tradition Country Club
At the Tillery Tradition Country Club, located in Mt. Gilead, NC, you will experience golf at its finest.
Designed with rolling, tree-lined fairways; this par-72 course plays to a total distance of 6,930 yards
from the championship tees. Built upon 540 acres, you will not find a neighboring fairway, just
breathtaking views, which only The Tillery Tradition can offer. A minimum of four sets of tees per
hole will ensure a challenging round for players of all ability levels. The cleverly shaped greens, edged
with white sand bunkers are designed to challenge a players' shot making skills. The Tillery Tradition
is defined by serenity and stunning beauty.
Located on Tradition Drive, the golf shop provides a full range of quality equipment and supplies. Bag
storage and club cleaning is available. Enjoy a light snack or beverage from our grille. Dressing and
shower facilities are conveniently connected to the golf shop by a breezeway which allows a
magnificent view of the 18th green. Surrounding facilities include a driving range, putting greens
and members only swimming facility. Tiered patios decorate the courtyard and await discussions on
the best golf shot of the day.
At The Tillery Tradition, the focus of excellence has just begun. A lake-view sunset, beautiful
clubhouse facility and a fun-filled swimming pool allows members to have access to fun and dining
each evening.

Meet Our Chef
A North Carolina native, Cindel Boles joins the Tillery Tradition team as the Executive Chef.
She grew up in Albemarle, North Carolina, with her parents, older sister and younger brother.
An honors and magna cum laude graduate of Johnson & Wales University at Charlotte, Cindel
received a Bachelor of Science in Foodservice Management in 2011 and an Associate of
Science in Culinary Arts in 2009. During her tenure at Johnson & Wales Cindel started working
at the Old North State Club with McConnell Golf to complete her externship. While working
for McConnell Golf for five and a half years, Cindel gained experience with the ACC Golf
Championship, the Wyndham Golf Championship, as well as large events including weddings.
As she moved up the ranks to eventually landing in the Sous Chef position, Cindel fed her
passion for the industry learning and growing as much as possible. While working at the Old
North State Club she also met and married her husband. Alongside her career in the food
industry she is a member of Canton Baptist Church and developed a love for baking.

Membership Terms & Conditions
I understand that I am agreeing to pay a Membership fee for Golf, Pool, and/or facility privileges to The Tillery
Tradition Country Club. I am aware that my membership is non-refundable and non-transferable for any reason
and does not grant me any propriety rights of ownership to The Tillery Tradition, nor does my acceptance as a
Member and payment of the Membership fee guarantee future membership rights to The Tillery Tradition.
Effective management of accounts receivable at the Club is important and necessary to protect the rights and
privileges of every member. Accordingly, any member’s account that becomes past due after 30 days will incur
a 1.5 % service charge per month for any outstanding balance.
Should a past due not be paid in full by the end of the following month the account will be considered
delinquent and Member privileges may be suspended/revoked until paid in full. By signing membership
application, you agree to pay for all charges billed to your account, including monthly dues, golf fees,
merchandise, and food & beverage purchases/charges in the indicated prescribed time frame.
Acceptance
I hereby acknowledge that the use of The Tillery Tradition facilities and any privileges or services pertaining to
membership is undertaken with knowledge of risk of possible injury. If an accident should transpire, I hereby
accept all risk of injury to myself, my guests, and family sustained while using The Tillery Tradition facilities;
or involved in any event or activity pertaining to membership at The Tillery Tradition. I hereby release The
Tillery Tradition, its parent company, affiliates, subsidiaries, and their owners, directors, officers, managers,
members, employees, and agents from any and all loss, claims, injury, damages or liability sustained or incurred
by me, my guests and family resulting from or arising out of any conduct or event connected with membership
at The Tillery Tradition.
Medical Inactive Status
A Medical Inactive Status is available with a written and signed note from your physician.
There will be a $30 monthly administrative fee.
Dress Code
Golfers are required to wear appropriate golf attire. Tank tops, tee shirts, blue jeans, athletic pants and swim
wear are not permitted. Metal spikes are not permitted on the golf course or in the clubhouse.
Resignation
In the event you decide to resign your membership at any given time, you will be fiscally responsible for the
remaining balance and any other charges/amount owed to The Tillery Tradition. All resignations must be in
written form and they must be given 30 days in advance. Any member who resigns or is terminated from The
Tillery Tradition will not be eligible for reinstatement for membership until one year from the date of
resignation.

CREDIT INFORMATION:

Cancelation Agreement: All Membership cancelations require a 30-day written notice. Cancelation notices
received after the 1st of the month will be effective on the last day of the following month. Member will be

become effective on the last day of the following month. Membership’s classifications are not exchangeable
within a calendar year. Cancelation or terminated members are not eligible to rejoin the club within 12-month
of the date of their termination or cancelation.
