Club Montemar
Club Montemar is a tastefully constructed villa style complex.
For larger groups there are 2 main independent villas both with a private pools.
For smaller groups we have a choice of 7 independent apartments with stunning
panoramic sea views with outdoor barbecue and kitchen facilities.
There are 4 independent apartments for rent all year round. With a selection of either
1, 2 or 3 bedrooms with 1 to 2 bathrooms.
Each apartment has breathtaking sea views, and there is also table tennis and pool on
the terraces. The complex is private with locked gates and private parking for residents.
Club Montemar
Each villa has an outdoor bar-kitchen area to
dine al fresco with fabulous views to the sea.
The outdoor kitchens are fully equipped and
include the all important dishwasher, BBQ, bar,
fridge freezer, cooker. There is a tennis table
and kiddies play area to amuse the younger
members. We have private parking an lots of
private terraced areas to relax in.
There are many outdoor seating areas to give
you a choice of stunning panoramic sea views to
El Portet and the Peñon De Ifach or a shaded
cool area where you can relax and get away
from the sun.
Weekends, overnight and midweek rentals are
also available. Winter rentals at excellent rates.
Our prices include linen and towels. Beach
towels are available to hire at 2 euros per week
to save on your luggage allowance.
A welcome pack can be pre-ordered for
your arrival.

Moraira & El Portet
Oozing style and class, El Portet is situated in a sheltered bay within walking distance of Moraira.
Both El Portet and Moraira have a rather upmarket feel with nothing to be seen of high rise developments.
The well spaced individual character of development does mean that the villas are spread over quite a
substantial area. A hire-car is a necessity in most areas as there is no local bus service except along the
Calpe-Moraira-Teulada road.
The Costa Blanca region of Spain has one of the best climates in the world,
enjoying over 300 days of sunshine in an average year. One of the most
beautiful towns in the Costa Blanca is Teulada-Moraira. Nestling
between the mountains and the sea, the wonderful climate of this
specific area boasts an average yearly temperature of 18°C.
Teulada-Moraira is a true paradise at the Costa Blanca where you
will find hidden and secluded bays and sandy beaches.
There are three beautiful beaches of fine sand as well as small romantic
rocky bays along the coastline that is eight kilometres long. The family
beach of Playa de l'Ampolla is very popular, the Playa Del Portet which is
convenient for beginners of windsurfing is one of the most beautiful bays in the
township and the Playa Platgetes is inviting visitors to go diving and snorkeling. The
marina offers further opportunities for water sports and operates a sailing school in the summer months.
Moraira Tourist Train
The train offers an enjoyable ride through the
main streets of Moraira. Passing next to the
port in the direction towards El Portet beach. Along the road that links Moraira to Calpe, you will enjoy the
beaches and the beautiful landscape and its surroundings with spectacular sea views. At the roundabout of
the "Commercial Centre Andrago" the train returns towards Moraira passing the medieval castle and
coming back to the starting point.

NIGHTLIFE AND SHOPPING EXPERIENCES
Moraira & El Portet
Moraira villa centre, once quite small, has grown into a
spacious town and is the hub of the local cosmopolitan
society that buzzes with life on a day and night basis.
Apart from the old "main street" (c/ Dr Calatalud), which
of closed to traffic on summer and fiesta evenings,
Moraira consists of a several wide, tree lined avenues
arranged around the church square (Plaza de la Iglesia).
There are numerous small bars and cafeterias and, as
darkness falls and night-life takes over, the many
restaurants begin to fill and the Moraira evening strollers
appear.
Moraira Village
provides all of the
usual services
demanded by a busy
modern seaside
resort. Food-shops,
banks, legal,
communications etc.
are well represented
and there a numerous boutiques, art
galleries, gift and
souvenir shops to
tempt the visitor with
an excellent range of
quality produce. For
those who prefer the
less-hectic way of life,
away from the village
centre, there are
many more supermarkets, shops and restaurants located
in the outlying shopping centres which include large
trolley-to-car mini-hypermarkets.
Food Shops - The normal shopping hours are 9:00 to
13:00pm and 16:00 until 20:00pm and many shops and
supermarkets are open all day and on Sundays and
Fiestas but in the morning only.
For serious shoppers many people travel to La Marina the
shopping mall by Carrefour in Benidorm or Ondara
Shopping centre both around 25 minutes away.
An hours drive away is the beautiful buzzing city of
Valencia, where you can shop in all the well known stores
and department stores.
NIGHTLIFE AND SHOPPING EXPERIENCES
Javea
The city of Javea ( or Xabia in valenciano ) Spain lies
about 80 km north east of Alicante, in between Denia and
Altea. You can reach Javea via the road N 332, a
wonderful road along the coastline of the Costa Blanca.
If you have some time to discover the beauty of the area
via this road – you will love it’s views. Javea, between
Denia in the north and the cabo de nao in the south, is
embedded between two bays – the cabo San Antonio
and the cabo San Martin.

Especially along the
Avenida del
Mediterraneo which
runs along the Javea
harbor area, you will
find many restaurants

From a sightseeing
point of view, you
should visit the
church Iglesia de San
Bartolome, which
was built in the 12th
century.
Also of interest is the museum Soler Blasco, which can be
found in the calle Primicias. The museum displays a copy
of the treasure of Javea, which consists of jewelry from
the past centuries. The original treasure of Javea can be
seen in Madrid.
Shopping by Night
All shops in old town of Jávea stays open for a night of
shopping, entertainment and surprise till way after midnight. Apart from the opportunity to stroll around shopping by night in the lovely Spanish village atmosphere the
evening features plenty of things to do with your family

Golfing Costa Blanca
The Costa Blanca is without doubt a golf players
paradise.
There are over fifteen 18 hole golf courses in the
Costa Blanca, all within a 2 hour drive of benidorm.
Some have been designed by Seve Ballesteros,
some regularly play host to Spanish national
championships, some are even ranked regularly
amongst the top courses in the world.
The Oliva Nova course in Gandia was designed by the golfing legend Seve Ballesteros
and it is rated as one of the best 18 holes courses on the Costa Blanca.
In Denia there is another very good 18 holes links designed by another highly reputed
Spanish golfer Jose Maria Olazabal at the Club de Golf La Sella Denia.
The club de golf de Javea (Xabia) is a relatively small 9 holes course
complemented by a couple of extra putting greens and a driving range with twenty
bays.
The Moriara and Calpe golf course is another of the smaller 9 holes courses. It is at the
Club de Golf Ifach which is close to Moriara and Calpe. The views towards the
magnificent Penon de Ifach rock in Calpe are quite splendid.
The Club de Golf Don Cayo is the Altea golf course. Another 9 holes course which also
has a driving bay for practicing your swing with 5 places.
Probably the best know of the Costa Blanca golf links is the Real de Faula in Benidorm.
You do need to book in advance to play on the course designed by Nicklaus even
though there are two distinct 18 holes courses and a three hundred metres driving
range with 60 bays.

Cycling Costa Blanca
Costa Blanca & Marina Mountains offer the very
best of all things BIKE! Plus the opportunity to see
the real rural Spain of quiet rustic villages,

With only slightly lower temperatures than usual, the Costa Blanca manages to avoid
the snow and rain that affects the rest of Europe and it still possible to ride over
1000m mountain passes most of the time during February.
Professional cycling teams often come to Spain in December and again in January to
get early season miles in and to test themselves in the mountains.
The area between Calpe and Denia on the Costa Blanca has long been a favourite for
many teams.

Tradition- all dancing round bonfires, waiting for the flames to die down for the
traditional leaping over the embers (In Moraira, at the beach of l’Ampolla and in the
Town Hall Square in Teulada). On this same magical night folklore dictates that it is
the most propitious time to cleanse the body and spirit by bathing in the sea at
midnight, and to reveal the zealously guarded secrets of traditional remedies.

Have you seen the faces of your children when you go with them on a ride? It’s
priceless, isn’t it? Hear their laughter and you’ll forget the rest. Fun has nothing
to do with ages but with willing.
Do you know what adrenalin is? You don’t need to. The most important thing you
need to know is that here you will find so many rides you won’t have enough
breath to do them all.
Aqualandia in Benidorm, the first water park built in Spain,
opened in 1985. Since then it has been not only one of the
largest water parks in the world.
Aqualandia is an extensive natural area where you can enjoy a wide variety of water
activities and many other amenities. It covers an area of 150,000 square metres and
has 50,000 square metres of free parking.

Most travel agents in Moraira will give you a good deal. Don’t
buy at the venue it’s much cheaper to by before.
Trips and Excursions
Mundomar, your animal park, is located next
to the Aqualandia water park and has an
extension of 60,000 square metres and
landscape features which contribute to
creating a park unlike any other.
Guadalest
A fantastic tourist attraction with breathtaking
views. This is a fantastic place to visit during your stay.
El Castell de Guadalest, known usually as Guadalest, is a
small town in Valencia, in a mountainous part of the comarca
of Marina Baixa, in the province of Alicante, Spain. Guadalest
covers an area of 16 sq km, and has a
population of around 200 inhabitants. Guadalest is
approximately 25 kilometres inland from Benidorm along CV70 road.
Fuentes del Algar
The Fuentes del Algar should be on the top of your
list for places to visit whilst you are around the area.
Not only do they offer a sharp contrast to the normal
days at the beach, but furthermore they show you a
different, very quiet and even cool Spain.
Beaches
MORAIRA
The character of the Moraira area coastline, with its cliffs
and dramatic headlands means that the beaches are
mainly in small coves and bays. The Main Moraira Village
Beach, Playa la Ampolla is quite large large and safe for
children, as it shelves quite steeply and is generally
protected from big waves. The beach is well served by
bars, restaurants etc, there are public toilets, showers
and a lifeguard during the summer season.
EL PORTET
Not as large as the Moraira Beach but is more closely
protected by the headland and one side and the
Moraira Marina on the other.
It has very soft sand and again shelves gently, being
ideal for children. Both beaches are served by beach
bars and restaurants which are open until around
midnight, and serve drinks, snacks and main meals.
There are many other coves
and bays along the coast with
sandy or sand/rock beaches,
all of which are well worth
exploring.
CUMBRE DEL SOL is an exclusive urbanization,
built along the sea front at the heart of Costa
Blanca North. Its 3.7 million square metres are
divided into different residential areas: with
villas, townhouses, bungalows and apartments
and landscaping carefully designed to provide a
wealth of green spaces.
With superb views of the Mediterranean, this is
a beach lover’s paradise. The nearest beach is
Playa del Moraig, a pebbly beach with dramatic

Mainly fruit and vegetables - good prices and quality.
BENIDORM
A large and busy market which caters for the holidaymakers of this resort.

Located in the Old Town. Fruit, vegetables, fish, meat and some furniture and antiques.
FRIDAY 2 MORAIRA
Picturesque and very busy. Very good local fruit and vegetables, souvenirs, gifts, clothing, etc.

Modest size, typically Spanish.

A car-boot sale or rastro, some good second-hand furniture and antiques.

The Moraira and Javea evening market, has numerous stalls on the pavements of Moraira village,
and the beach front of Javea selling handicrafts, gifts, pictures etc.

Taxis and Petrol Stations
The petrol stations in Moraira and Teulada are open from 06:00 until 22:00 every
day of the year. Outside these times fuel can be obtained on the N332
Alicante/Valencia Road at GATA and CALPE (APPROX. 25 Kms to either).
On the A-7 Motorway, there is a 24-hour service station at VILLAJOYOSA
(approx. 45 Kms in the direction of ALICANTE) but the GATA service area
(approx. 25 Kms in the direction of VALENCIA) closes at 23'00 and there is no
fuel until the end of the motorway (approx. 80 Kms).
There are a dozen or so private taxis licensed to operate in the Teulada/Moraira
area and there is a taxi rank on the Avenida de Madrid in Moraira Village with a
telephone available in case there is no cab waiting on the rank.
A telephone call from any bar, restaurant, disco or the like, will speedily bring
a cab to the door.
