OLD MAN EMU (OME)
4X4 SUSPENSION BY ARB
OME 4x4 suspension provides a range of tuned, matched and integrated
systems, each offering optimum levels of comfort, load carrying capability
and control characteristics.
When choosing the right suspension system considerations for vehicle handling, passenger
comfort, load carrying capabilities (including towing) and local driving conditions the
vehicle will operate in are all detrimental in keeping the vehicle and occupants safe.
ARB has a range of suspension systems to suit driving conditions from highways to off road
and everything in between.

OME APPLICATION
TOYOTA LANDCRUISER 70 EXAMPLE
REMARKS:
When vehicles are used for highly specialised tasks with extremely high loads being
used, then a custom suspension system would be required. ARB can assist in
helping select the best suspensions for your vehicle application and road conditions.
1. For heavily loaded applications it may be necessary to step down one spring
selection in the front to maintain correct rake.
2. OMESTAB2 Sway Bar is highly recommended fitment when 80kg Constant
Spring is used. Sway Bar can also be fitted to lighter rated springs to improve
road handling. FK44 suits Models with OE axle sway bar mount. FK45 suits
Models without OE sway bar provision
3. For vehicles fitted with ABS brakes, an ABS Wire Bracket Kit must be fitted.
LOAD RATING: The explanations below indicate the passenger
and load weights that will provide optimum ride and handling.
• LIGHT LOAD: Full passenger load with luggage weights up to
150kg
• MEDIUM LOAD: Full passenger load with luggage weight varying
from 200kg to 350kg
• CONSTANT LOAD: The minimum constant load shown on
selection chart is required for optimum spring performance.

customization
3. The OME spring provides improved ride height and load carrying capacity over Original Equipment (OE) option
4. Extra leafs can be added to the spring stack to increase rating up to the height of the OME long length centre bolt
