BRIEF DESCRIPTION
A 16th Century former coaching inn which for the past 20 or so years has been run as a
part time antique shop and tea rooms with B&B facilities to the first and second floors. The
property features as number 5 on the Llanrwst heritage trail. If you have driven through or
visited Llanrwst in the past you may well have noticed “Mr Pickwick’s statue” which stands
above the door of the building (photo below). The property boasts much charm and character,
features including 3ft stone walls, uneven exposed, original floor boards, fireplaces including a
large inglenook in the tea room. There is also a medieval well in the courtyard which was
found by the current owners. The courtyard is used as an extension to the tea rooms in the
summer. The building has undergone a lot of work over recent years including re-roofing, rerendering, decorating and double glazed to the rear. Llanrwst is a traditional market town with
a population of some 3,500. situated in the heart of the Conwy Valley between Llandudno and
Betws y Coed. The town has a variety of tourist attractions including St Crwst’s church & Alms
Houses, Pont Fawr (Big Bridge) which crosses the river Conwy built in
1636 by Sir John Wynn. The town offers a wide range of amenities
