One Application Controls Crabgrass the Entire Season
A pre-emergence herbicide, Barricade® offers low rate,
season-long control of more than 30 grassy and
broadleaf weeds, including crabgrass, goosegrass,
and Poa annua. It works by preventing growth and
development of newly germinated weeds. With a
unique non-staining active ingredient and application
flexibility, Barricade plays an important role in a sound
turf management strategy.
Apply in Fall or Early Spring,
for Season-Long Control
A single application works all season long. Many find
applying in the fall preferable, since weather conditions
are often more favorable, providing a larger window of
application. In those areas where the ground freezes in
the winter, Barricade 65WG can be applied in the fall
at rates of 1.0–1.15 lbs/A after the soil temperature falls
below 50°F but before the ground freezes. This application
will control crabgrass the following spring.

product from moving, even on slopes and hillsides. It
