USE: SOF-W-IFAK is an operationally enhanced IFAK by design, providing maximum flexibility of use through
modularity and organization. Rapid reconfiguration of the IFAK supports any mission requirement. In static
or quick in/out operations, the Ambidextrous Medical-Utility Leg Panel provides a stable platform along with
additional storage; in mounted/dismounted operations, the IFAK and Tourniquet Pouch can be rapidly separated from the leg panel allowing reconfiguration on any MOLLE/PALS load bearing platform. A systems
approach to design marries the kit to its big brother, the Break-Away Litter Carrier, a sub-component to the
Combat CASEVAC Kit, SOF Mobility currently in use throughout ARSOF.
