Our goal is to make MRA the number 1
hunting destination in the wilds of the
Yukon. Sound wildlife management
practices and conservation in our nearly
7000 square mile concession and throughout the Yukon have resulted in healthy
animal populations. Recent data suggests
that areas within our concession have some
of the heaviest moose densities in all of the
Yukon.

THE OUTFIT
THE HUNTS
Alaska/Yukon Moose
These giants of the Yukon are found throughout
our concession. Boats or horses and ATV or backpacking will assist in your pursuit of North
Americas largest antlered game.
Keith and Rod are a fresh face in the Yukon.
We believe our passion for bowhunting will set us
apart from all the
other outfitters in the
Yukon. 2003 was a
time of change for
MacMillan River
Adventures. Building,
renovating, and
cleaning camps was
and will continue to
DAWSON COLBY BULL
be a priority. We believe that good people with
the proper equipment will increase the
quality of your Yukon experience. We are
committed to improve and upgrade all aspects
of the outfit. This includes building new camps
and expanding into remote spots within our area
that are still untouched.
Despite some growing pains 2003 was
outstanding! In our first at bat we went 100%
on Moose including the #2 moose harvested in
the Yukon! Congratulations goes out to Kevin
Cresci (8458779294) for his 230 inch Yukon
Moose. Kim Lockhart (3066822154) for his #3
Grizzly and an outstanding 63 inch moose. John
Bell (9139273852) took a 217 inch bull with his
muzzleloader which is sure to find its way to the
top 5 all-time in the Longhunters society.
Stone Sheep
The most physically demanding of all of North
Americas Sheep. Hunting Stone Sheep within our
area will require horses, backpacking and a strong
resolve. The reward is great as MacMillan River
Adventures is home to some of the largest
representatives of the species found anywhere.
Mountain Caribou
Scattered throughout our concession, horseback
is the means of transport for this hunt. Taken as
an additional species or hunted on their own.
These animals, are the largest of all caribou in
North America.
Catering to bowhunters, MacMillan River
Adventures provides opportunity for taking some
of the finest specimens harvested annually. The
latest edition of the P&Y record book indicates
that 26 of the 40 Yukon entries were harvested
in our concession.
Grizzly Bears
MacMillan River
Adventures offers
spring bear hunts via
boat along rivers or
backpacking through
the mountains. This
hunt provides
excellent opportunity
for taking both
trophy Grizzly and
Black Bear.
