The Byron American Legion, as a co-sponsor of the Field of
Flags, would like to thank all of the people that bought flags in
remembrance of their loved ones. We would like to thank the
Byron Fire Department for their participation in the
presentation of flags and the flying of our American Flag.
The presentation and program were an excellent display of
community unity. We would like to thank the bag pipe player,
who did an excellent job. It was a very moving moment when
he played Amazing Grace as he wound through the flags in a
final tribute to everyone. We also want to thank the Bell of
Honor for their participation.
Thanks again for supporting the SOS, the Legion Auxiliary
and the Byron American Legion.

The annual Good Neighbor American Legion Bean Bag
Tournament was held on Saturday, July 19. We had 24 teams.
1st Place went to Luke and Ty, 2nd Place went to Bryan and Jay
3rd Place went to Cons & Ryan , 4th Place went to Bo & Matt
The Consolation winner was Andy & Goob
It was great to see so many young people supporting our event.
