A neutral flavor, powdered, specially formulated medical
food containing protein, fat and carbohydrate for use in
the dietary management of disease related malnutrition,
malabsorption states and other conditions requiring
fortification with energy & protein under medical
supervision.
Storage
Dosage is to be determined by the clinician or
dietitian and is dependent on the age, body
weight and medical condition of the patient.
Once tub is opened, use within one month;
packets are designed for single use and should
be used once opened.
One packet or one scoop weighs approx.
15g (0.53 oz) of Pro-Cal powder and provides
100kcal and 2g protein.
Important Notice
Must only be given to patients under strict medical supervision.
Only available in Canada.
Sprinkle Pro-Cal powder onto the desired food or
drink, and stir until the powder is dissolved. Not
suitable for addition to fruit juice or cold water.

Vitabite is a versatile product that can
be easily incorporated into the diet in
a variety of ways; e.g. it can be
melted and used to coat permitted
cakes, cookies, ceral and fruit.

Melting VitaBite couldn’t be easier - Break up into a
bowl, then either microwave or place over a pan of
boiling water (carefully!) and stir until melted.
VitaBite shapes - Pour into different moulds, refrigerate
for 1 hour and turn out when set.
VitaBite crispy cakes - Mix with permitted amount of
Rice Krispies or other cereals, spoon into cupcake
baking cups and leave to cool.
VitaBite buttons - Using a teaspoon, drip small drops
onto a nonstick tray and leave to set in the refrigerator.
VitaBite cookies - Coat or use as a filling for permitted
cookies and cakes, leave in a cool place until set.
VitaBite fruits - Coat small pieces of fresh fruit and
make a special dessert.
VitaBite Popsicle - Great for sunny days. Simply dip
the permitted Popsicle into the melted VitaBite to coat
and then keep in the freezer for a treat.
VitaBite can also be grated and used to decorate
low protein desserts or cakes. For the best results
refrigerate the VitaBite before grating.
