Denali Heli-Hiking Adventure

Trek through the wild Alaskan backcountry with an experienced local naturalist at your side. In this tour, you’ll get to explore remote areas that are
normally a full day’s hike away. Lift off in a modern A-Star helicopter and
get ready for your breathtaking birds-eye view of the Alaskan wilderness. An
exhilarating 15-minute flight will bring you to our hiking area located just
beyond the boundaries of Denali National Park. Once there, your friendly
guide will lead you on an educational soft-adventure hike above the tree line.
You’ll learn how to track animals, interpret the flora and fauna, and if you’re
lucky – catch a glimpse of some of the spectacular local wildlife in its natural
habitat. Your hike will present you with unforgettable views of the rolling

Juneau Glacier Dogsledding
Whisk away from our Juneau heliport en route to a high altitude
dogsled camp where you will experience the life of an Alaskan Dog
Musher! Enjoy glacier flightseeing along the way to this highly interactive hands-on personal adventure!
Tour the dog camp and see the behind the scene areas that make it all happen. Visit the kennel, the cookhouse, living quarters-, and veterinary clinic.
During this interactive tour you will help prepare your dog team for the fun
day of mushing that lays ahead. After preparing a champion’s snack for your
new canine companions, watch them relish in enjoyment as you brush their
furry coats.
Each day also begins with a wellness check where you can assist in a caring
inspection of their paws and a dose of sunscreen on their noses to protect
them from sunlight reflection off the snow. Once your furry friends are fed
and cleared for the trail, you will assist your musher with harnessing and
booting your dog team for the open trail. Learn the musher’s commands of
Gee, Haw, and Hike, and head out across the snow capped glacier!
