RECORDING OF TELEPHONE CALLS
If you hear a short "beep" tone on your telephone about every 15 seconds, it means that the person
with whom you are talking is recording your convetsation. This signal is provided by the t$ph011e
company for your protection. Use of a recorder without this signal is unlawful. If you do not want
a record made of what you are saying, ask the person with . whom you are talking to disconnect
the recording machine. When he disconnects, you will no longer hear the !'beep" tone.
