Contessa is an elegant synthesis of European design and seating technology.

• Contessa Chairs have been designed and tested for users weighing up to 250 lbs
• Contessa Chairs are equipped with casters intended for use on carpeted surfaces. Use of these casters on hard surfaces could
result in unexpected rolling and tipping. Casters designed for use on hard surfaces are available. If in doubt, see your dealer
for appropriate selection

SEAT HEIGHT ADJUSTMENT
BACK TILT ADJUSTMENT

RIGHT


Seat height can be adjusted by
lifting the lever at the front of the
right armrest. When this lever is
lifted, the weight of the body will
cause the seat to lower, and
releasing it stops the seat at the
desired height. Lifting the lever
with no weight on the seat allows
it to rise.
LEFT
When the chair back is at the
desired angle, press the lever once
to lock it in position. Pressing the
lever again frees the chair back.

ARM HEIGHT & ARM CAP PIVOT ADJUSTMENT
SEAT DEPTH ADJUSTMENT


Lifting the slide levers under both
sides of the seat allows it to be
adjusted forwards and backwards.


The arm height can be adjusted by
lifting the arm cap. Raising the
armrest to its uppermost position frees
it to return to its lowest position.
Arm cap pivots in four positions.

TENSION ADJUSTMENT



Turning the grip found under the
left side of the seat limits the back
tilt travel and locks the back. Travel
is limited on 3 positions with back
lock in the upright position.



The lumbar height-adjustment
levers can be found on either side
of the chair back frame.
The height of the lumbar support
can be adjusted by sliding it up and
down.

The support frame is adjusted
forwards and backwards by
rotating the two levers.










