Living in a house with 180º views of golden sands,
undulating coast line and an ever-changing seascape
would be, for most of us, and absolute dream. For
the current owners of White Lodge it has been, for
them – exactly that!
“We wake up in the morning to the most stunning
views and the sound of the sea,” says Shirley “and I
wake up every single morning loving it all over again.
There are lovely coastal pathways, long walks along
the beach and the mountains are just half an hour
away. The countryside around us is as beautiful as
the bay views in front of us.”
“Entertaining in the house and the garden is very
easy and friends and family all love to visit. Getting
about is no problem either, Bangor is only about 10
miles away and the main line rail station connects
with Chester, Manchester and London. The A55
takes just 10 minutes to reach and is the main route
to Cheshire..”
“It has been quite incredible living in this house, adds
Colin. We can be walking across the sands in five
minutes from leaving the house. Shirley and I love to
walk across to Red Wharf Bay enjoy a meal and a
glass of wine, then walk back along the sandy
beach - barefoot, shoes and socks in hand. Shirley
recalls walking along the shore some years ago with
her cousin and commenting to her that she would
love to live in one of those houses overlooking the
bay - It was a wish that came true and living here
really has been a dream!!”

Occupying an unrivalled coastal position within the picturesque village of Benllech this executive bungalow
residence is set above the delightful sandy beach and promenade with far reaching sea and coastal views
extending to the Great Orme at Llandudno. Approached through a highly popular residential development
of established homes the entrance to White Lodge is through a wide entrance gateway leading to a paved
forecourt and driveway providing private parking for several vehicles. It is in our opinion clearly evident
that this spacious property has been carefully designed for its individual and outstanding location with huge
picture windows which frame the stunning views and French windows which lead out onto a large and
private sun terrace from which the coastal views can also be enjoyed.
Life at White Lodge has to be coastal living at its very best with the wonderful views providing a
magnificent vista from morning until night, and the excellent village amenities of shops, village pubs,
restaurants and a regular bus service all within a short walk.
For water sports enthusiasts this coast is simply wonderful and for those who prefer golf there is a local
course some 2 miles away. The University City of Bangor with supermarkets and major amenities is some
8 miles distant and it is at this point that the A55 Expressway provides a fast link to Chester and the
motorway network. Mainline rail services are also available from Bangor with direct services to both
Cardiff and London.
