REFUNDS: A refund of $16.00 per team is applicable in the event of play having commenced then abandoned before 8.15 p.m. By-law 9A refers. STARTING TIME: Matches must start at 7.15 p.m. SHARP! Please ensure your team is in attendance and ready to play at this time. Teams not fully paid up by 7.30 p.m. will forfeit the first set. This will be declared by the Lancilord Club Representative. FINISHING TIME: Lights at all venues MUST be switched off at 11.00 p.m. regardless of the score at this time. Teams playing at Mooroolbark.and Coldstream courts must vacate the clubhouse and carpark by 11.05 p.m. (Council stipulation). North Ringwood now has an 11.00 pm lightd out curfew. CLUBHOUSES: Please make sure clubhouses are left clean and tidy before leaving. Lights on manual switches must be turned off and please check that all gates and doors are locked. BEHAVIOUR: Alcohol abuse and bad behaviour will definitely not be tolerated by Landlord Clubs nor by the Association and will be Oeatt with. This mayresult in suspension from the competition. (Teams and/or individual players). CLOSING DATE FOR SEASON 312012 is 24th June, 2012. Team nomination forms must be handed to your Club Representative prior to this. Note: Most Landlord clubs close entries a week before this date. Non club teams wishing to enter Season 3 should fonruard their nomination forms direct to the Secretary. WASHOUTS: lf a washout is decided without attending the courts, both teams must send in a card with the four (4) players who were to play written on the card and the Landlord Club Representative must be informed by the home team. Penalty 4 points. NOTE: Washouts cannot be called before 6.30 p.m. FORFEITS: lf your team forfeits a match, a fee of $32.00 must be paid to the appropriate Record Secretary within 7 days of the forfeit. ln the event of forfeit fees not being paid, the team will be ineligible to participate further in the competition. Teams wishing to pull out of the competition after the draw has been completed, will be required to pay forfeit fees for all remaining weeks of the competition. No player in that team will be eligible to play in future seasons unless these forfeit fees have been paid. In the case where a team receives a forfeit, it is the responsibility of the team to ensure that a result card listing the team's players is in the possession of the appropriate Record Secretary by the times specified as per By-Law 8C. Failure to comply will result in a deduction of four (4) points from the progressive score. PENALTIES: Teams penalised for late or no cards etc. will be listed on the ladders issued after the Sth and 9th rounds. This will be the only notification. Team captains will be notified by mail regarding unregistered players. RESULT CARDS: The winning team is responsible to ensure that the result card is in the hands of the Record Secretary by the specified time. Penalty is -4 points. The winning team is also responsible for ensuring that the confpleted Semi-Final and Grand Final score cards are forwarded to the appropriatd Record Secretary as per a normal playing night. EMERGENCIES: Emergencies can be registered by writing the name on the back of the result card and by providing full details of that player's standard. Remember that an emergency must not strengthen the team. FINALS ELIGIBILITY: To play in a final, a player must have played in three (3) matches in that team. Permission must be obtained from the Executive Committee to play a player not fulfilling these requirements. ABANDONED OR UNFINISHED MATCHES: (NEW BY-LAW 9C) ln the event of a draw situation as described in By-law 98, the home team is responsible for ensuring that the result card is in the possession of the appropriate Record Secretary by the times specified. Penalty is -4 points of the home team progressive score. SPECIAL NOTES Players should note that it is not an Association requirement to be a financial member of a tennis club in order to play in the L&DNTA night competition. Teams not wishing to become club members or pay additional levies can submit their entry fee. The entries direct to the Association and pay only the standard no levies apply. Association will allocate the team a home court at a venue
