MEDICAL TECHNOLOGY IN MODERN CASING
Hospitals are increasingly requesting to keep lighting apart from medical technology. Consequently,
the equipment housing is more compact and looks less “technical”. The room has a more friendly
appearance and the person staying there feels more at home.
A particularity of the Medilux® system is that the front panel for the housing may be made to measure. You define the dimensions, material and design of the front panel yourself, for example in the
facility’s house style. Up to three connections for medical gasses may be integrated and the electrical
connections (sockets, equipotential connections, data communication and paging system) are
discreetly concealed in the sides of the housing.
The housing is completely custom made, in accordance with the components you require.
HORIZONTAL SYSTEMS
The more conventional horizontal design of medical care systems is also often present, both in treatment rooms and in intensive care units.
One channel contains medical gasses and another contains electrical connections. Horizontal
Medilux® systems can have up to three channels.
Here too ETAP always provides custom made work. You specify what equipment and components you
need and we integrate them into a specially adapted solution. A Medilux® luminaire can always be
fastened to the uppermost channel. The channel is available in all RAL colours and can be up to six
metres long, so it is suitable for both one- and two-person rooms.
