Freestyle General Rules & Regulations and policies and procedures of the CFSA. This competition is sanctioned by Canadian Freestyle Skiing Association (CFSA) and organized by the Senior Nationals Canadian Championships Halfpipe and Slopestyle Organizing Committee with support of FSO and CFSA. It is the responsibility of each province to ensure that every athlete competing in this event holds a valid CFSA Canadian Competitor License or FIS Card license. Individual athletes entering the competition will be check on site for membership. Entry forms must be received by the Competition Registrar for Freestyle Skiing Ontario by February 20, 2011. The competition is open to all CFSA Canadian Competitor athletes. There will be no regional quotas. Bios: Each athlete must complete a Bio (form attached below). Coaches or Team Captains are to provide the Bios for the team to the Organizing Committee at Team Registration at the event. Individual athletes entering the event will submit at the on site registration when picking up their bibs. 2011 CANADA POST NATIONAL FREESTYLE SKI CHAMPIONSHIPS HALFPIPE & SLOPESTYLE Entry Fees: Event Fee Slopestyle Only Halfpipe Only Halfpipe & Slopestyle $125.00 $125.00 $175.00 Participants, their provincial sport organizations or their teams will be responsible for payment of entry fees. Please note that if an event is cancelled, each athlete who is registered for that event will be refunded $20. The maximum refund that will be paid to any one athlete (if more than one event is cancelled) is $40. Bibs: A $30.00 refundable bib deposit is required when each athlete checks in and collects their bib. Bibs must be worn on all sites at all times on official training days and on all event days. The bib deposit must be paid with the entry fees (as calculated on the Payment Form below). Athletes must return their bib at the end of their competition; upon return of the bib the athletes will be refunded their $30 bib deposit. Important Notice: Please note that here will be ZERO TOLERANCE for any offensive behaviour during the event. Any damage or disruption Horseshoe Valley Resort or Mount St. Louis Moonstone will result in the offender(s) being immediately removed from the event, from the hotel and having their membership with CFSA suspended. Liability: All athletes, officials and other members of the Canadian Freestyle Ski Association who attend and participate in the event(s) shall do so at their own risk. The Organizing Committee, Freestyle Skiing Ontario, Canadian Freestyle Ski Association, Sponsors, suppliers and their agents, Horseshoe Valley Resort, Mount St. Louis Moonstone, employees and volunteers shall not be responsible for any losses or injuries incurred or suffered by any athlete, official or other person in conjunction with the organization and staging of the event. All participants are urged to be vigilant in safeguarding their personal belongings at all times. The aforementioned parties will take no responsibility for missing belongings. Accident Insurance: Every competitor must have his/her own medical insurance. The Organizing Committee, Freestyle Skiing Ontario, Canadian Freestyle Ski Association, sponsors and Mount St. Louis Moonstone decline any responsibility for accidents, damaged equipment and second and third party claims during the staging of the event. 2011 CANADA POST NATIONAL FREESTYLE SKI CHAMPIONSHIPS HALFPIPE & SLOPESTYLE Team Leaders: A Team Leader’s meeting will be held at Holiday Inn, Barrie on Thursday, March 3rd beginning at 7:00 pm. Each province or team is to designate one person (Coach, Team Captain) to deliver Bios and pick up bibs and banquet tickets for each team from the Competition Office. Individual athletes competing in the event may attend the meeting or pick up materials at the Competition Office or onsite registration. Lift Tickets: Lift ticket can be purchased at the Moonstone Lodge or Main Lodge at Mount St. Louis Moonstone on the day of their training or event, special rates will apply for athletes wearing their bib. Parents and friends can buy tickets at the regular price of: Age Price Adult (18-64) $49 full day + HST Youth (13-17) $40 full day + HST Junior (6-12) $33 full day + HST *Family discounts are available. Mount St Louis is open 8:30 – 4:30 each day. A block of 30 rooms is being held until February 10th, after that date the room rate will increase to $139 per night.
