moderna Click systems
BHK uses the UNICLIC click-system because it is among the
best on the market. The individual planks can be clicked
together very quickly with the tension provided by the tongue
and groove connection. This makes the installation easy and
secure. The additional option of joining the boards horizontally makes installation easy even in spaces that are difficult
to access (e.g. below radiators or door frames). UNICLIC is
characterized by its high fitting accuracy, flush positioning
with respect to height and a seamless, powerful connection.
One turn, one click and the flooring is secure with DUROCLIC.
With this system, the boards can be installed individually or
in rows. DUROCLIC is among the most tried-and-tested clicksystems because it makes installation so easy and still meets
all of the requirements for a robust connection.
clic2fix is based on the push-in, push-down principle along
the short side. After the boards have been correctly positioned
on the long side, simply press down to lock them in – so easy,
a child could do it. The short sides and the long sides are interlocked directly and no tools are required. In short: position,
rotate, click. The connection is very stable and guarantees
high tensile strength.

Home - to each us, that means within our own four walls. But for all of us
together, the environment is our home and we cannot live without it. So
those who love their homes must also love the environment. For this reason,
at BHK we feel obligated as both people and as a company to do everything
we can to preserve our resources and protect our environment. We produce
our floors with great care and responsibility towards nature. In selecting
materials we make sure that they are natural, demonstrate high quality
and are manufactured in an environmentally sustainable manner. We use
only wood materials and woods that are sourced from sustainable forestry.
This is demonstrated by the PEFC certificate of our moderna products.
Our basic values are part of our system. For this reason, compliance with
environmental guidelines, product quality and work safety in our facilities
are audited at regular intervals. Since the year 2000 we have been certified
in accordance with ISO 9001 and ISO 14001. We burn wood and paper
waste in our own power plant and use the power generated for our heat and
electrical power supply.

Mix 'n' match! – That’s the motto for moderna variation. People need
change and variety – even within their own home. You can change anything
you like. With two different widths, 328 mm and 190 mm, you can create
your own, customized floor appearance: wide boards next to wide, narrow
next to narrow, or wide next to narrow. However you decide to combine,
the moderna variation wood types accentuate the typical wood grains and
characteristic structures of natural oak. The noticeable cracks and small
irregularities in the floor give it a distinguished vintage look. moderna
variation works with any style of furnishing and is extremely variable – it
can be used in spaces from penthouse apartments with modern furnishings
to rooms done in the classic country house style.

Thanks to modern click systems the installation of moderna laminate flooring is fast and easily done. But what should be put underneath the flooring?
Of course an underlayment! The choice is not easy, though, because in addition to insulation of ambience sounds an underlayment has to accomplish
further requirements.
Ambience sounds can be heard in the
