Desnivel Obras is a company specializing in the execution of geotechnical
works in protection, stabilization and revegetation of slopes, hillsides,
excavations and embankments. Our main objective is to control, minimize or
prevent damage to infrastructures, equipment, houses and people caused by
natural hazards such as erosion, landslides and rockfalls.
Desnivel Obras has the administrative classification to carry out public work,
which means that we may act as general contractor or subcontractor or
offer the client a complete service.

The use of rockbolts has been developed in
recent years, from their use as isolated
nails, to being used as part of a combined
and more effective solution, integrating
them with flexible meshes and cable nets,
to form a membrane across the slope
surface, thus sharing the load amongst all
of the nails used.
This methodology prevents the movement
of fragments of rocks, or large masses
from unstable areas, rather than
directing them, allowing them to
accumulate or stopping them once already
in motion.
These systems of stabilization are based
on proven calculation methods, laboratory
tests and strict installation protocols
which ensure that they function correctly
in the field.
The use of these systems provides
solutions to problems of stability even in
places with difficult access, over extended
time periods, with high durability and
minimum maintenance.

To contain slopes, embankments or riverbanks,

Erosion control is the first step towards stable slopes.
The placement of geogrid and organic blankets helps to prevent
the washing away of fine materials, avoiding the formation of
furrows which can fill the foot of the slope with debris.
The use of geocells provides superficial stability on slopes
consisting of sand and clay.
The projecting of hydroseeding, in some cases combined with
organic substrate, results in a rapid and effective recovery of
the landscape.

to drill in all kinds of adverse conditions.
Desnivel Obras works with high performance portable drilling
equipment. both hydraulic and pneumatic. The versatility and
low weight of the portable machines make it possible to work
with any type of lifting gear, using platforms or any others
devices. We also work on the slope itself by using sledges or
scaffolding systems.
The range of drilling includes, nails, anchors, self-drilling
anchors, lined borehole, drainage, grouting or micropiles.
