Dream Sports Job
The Buffalo Bulletin, a national award-winning weekly newspaper located in
the foothills of the Bighorn Mountains, is seeking a leader to take over one of the
best sports sections in the region while working in an area that inspired Ernest
Hemingway with its incredible vistas, world-class hunting, fishing, hiking, biking
and skiing opportunities.
The Bulletin’s sports section is known throughout the area as the place to go
for complete, thorough coverage of local teams and athletes. The sports section
primarily covers local prep sports in three communities that are passionate about
their student-athletes. The section also ventures to the great outdoors and during
the summer months, the rodeo arena. Our sports reporters have covered everything from the NFL to youth wrestling, so you never know where this job will take
you. With your office location ranging from the scenic Bighorn Mountains to high
school gyms, one thing is certain – this is no desk job.
The ideal candidate for this position will have great news judgment, be selfmotivated and have the drive to provide excellent sports and outdoor coverage.
You will be able to write compelling game stories, features and columns. Photography skills are a necessity. And the ability to work on deadline is a must.
Experience with Adobe Creative Suite is a plus. We offer a competitive starting
salary and generous benefits package including paid time off, a health insurance
stipend, a health club membership for the whole family, and a 401(k) program.
The Buffalo Bulletin belongs to a federation of community weekly and daily publications with 22 titles located in Colorado, Montana, Wyoming, Idaho, Washington,

Septic Pumpers
Must Have
State License
For the Courier
Are you having your septic
tank pumped by a licensed septic
pumper?
Many people have asked for
a list of licensed septic pumpers.
In Valley County, this question
arises more often than a person
thinks. The State of Montana
DEQ requires that pumpers have
a current state-issued septic tank
pumper license before they can
legally pump septic systems. If
you call a septic pumper, you
need to make sure they are licensed in your county.
Below is a list of the septic
tank pumpers with a current
state-issued license that serve
Valley County:
Fewer Pumping, Glasgow
Scott’s Services, Wolf Point
E&A Vac, Poplar
P.D. Septic LLC, Whitewater
Doorbust’n Portables & Septic Service, LLC, Sidney
If you have any questions, you
may contact your local sanitarian
at 228-6264.
