He is capable of happy hacking and all levels of riding horse work and has done some low level jumping. A sound horse he is easy to do anything with. Recently he has been in light exercise and has been turned out with a companion. Would make an ideal riding horse for any standard of rider. Vanadium for the last 12 months has been used as a lead horse for the young horses in the yard and is a very good lead. He doesn’t spook at anything and is forward going. He would make an excellent companion to any horse and he is a lovely ride. Standing at 16hh 3” he is also a nice big horse who should be able to jump when taught, although he has done some low level jumping so far. He has been a pleasure to have around and everyone loves riding him because he is such a kind horse. He would make someone a fabulous riding horse. NESNAAS 11yo Chestnut Gelding – 4th Feb 2001 Gulch o/o Sedrah Retired from racing March 2012 Nesnaas is a very nice strong gelding who could have a big future in competing in events and is a lovely horse who has a big future and rides like a young horse. He has been on Badminton fun rides, and has schooled Cross Country and jumps very impressively over any obstacles. He is a forward going horse who enjoys going out on hacks and would be an ideal riding and competition horse. Like Vanadium, Nesnaas has been generally used as a lead horse but he is an excellent mover and very kind natured. He would make a fantastic Point To Pointer or Eventer for someone. Guildenstern 10yo Bay Gelding – 8th April 2002 Danetime o/o Lyphard Abu Retired from Racing November 2011 Guildenstern is a laid back 10yo who is a good kind ride. A history of suspensory problems has prevented his racing career being as good as we could have hoped but he is a nice horse who will make a fabulous riding horse. He is kind natured and good at walking, trotting and cantering and has mainly been turned out lately. He hasn’t schooled previously but would probably manage low level jumping. He is a sound horse stands around 16hh 2” and would make a perfect riding horse prospect. Shipboard Romance – 7yo Bay Mare – 27th March 2005 Captain Rio o/o In Other Words Shipboard Romance completes the last of our riding horse prospects and she is a nice good mannered filly who is a nice quiet ride, is perfectly sound, jumps well and enjoys going out hacking. She has been in full work up until time of sale and she could carry on as a racehorse but she is of limited ability. A good honest jumper she is a good all round prospect and would make someone a fantastic riding horse. She is only around 15hh 3” however. A winner of 3 races this year she has done nothing but improve and has a tremendous attitude which gives me the impression she has not stopped improving.
