PackTech India 2012
A warm welcome to the visitors of the SWISS Pavilion at
International PackTech India 2012!
For the first time, the Swiss manufacturers are presenting themselves in a joint pavilion at International PackTech India. They are
covering a wide spectrum of products for the packaging industry.
This ranges from packaging materials, packaging solutions to
packaging machines for foods, beverages, pharmaceuticals,
cosmetics and speciality packaging. Did you know that Switzerland
is the 4 th biggest exporter of packaging machines worldwide?
The Swiss manufacturers are known for their high competence,
quality and precision, which are typical Swiss attributes.
India, on the other hand, is gaining more and more importance for
the Swiss industry. As a result, India imported industrial goods with
a value of more than 2.9 Billion US $ from Switzerland in 2011.
This is a growth of 15 % compared to the previous year. The share
of the packaging industry still has a big potential for growth.
Osec, together with Swissmem, is organising a joint presence of
Swiss exhibitors under one roof at International PackTech India
2012. The SWISS Pavilion offers you an interesting insight into the
activities of the various Swiss companies in the packaging industry.
