Anatomic dissections (Oct 13 and 14)
On Oct 13 a full day anatomic workshop surgical rejuvenation is offered. The participants will be taken through the
key procedures of surgical rejuvenation, including face lift,
endoscopic brow lift and endoscopic midface lift. Two
participants share one fresh frozen cadaveric head.
On Oct 14 a full day anatomic workshop rhinoplasty is
offered. The participants will be guided through the key
approaches and maneuvers in rhinoplasty, including septoplasty, endonasal and open approaches, suture techniques, grafting, osteotomies, saddle nose reconstruction
etc. Two participants share one fresh frozen cadaveric
head with fully preserved nose.
Workshop arricular reconstruction (Oct 13 and 14)
A full day workshop auricular reconstruction is
offered on Oct 13 and on Oct 14 (both are
identical). One of the world’s leading experts, Ralph
Magritz from Recklinghausen, Germany, will teach a
limited number of participants the carving of an
auricular framework. A special model of synthetic
material resembling rib cartilage is utilized. Instrumentation, sutures and surgical technique
are derived from what Dr. Magritz routinely uses in the operating room.
