provides comprehensive opportunities to transfer expertise and
inspire new collaborations and expand existing ones. The parallel
exhibition ”Market Place of the Future” moreover gives an
excellent overview of the latest developments and products.

At the 18th annual congress ”Zulieferer Innovativ” we will be
taking a look into the near future. The automotive industry is
currently in the midst of a fundamental transition. Automotive
value added is increasingly shifting towards electronics and
software. New vehicle concepts, e.g. for urban uses, are being
launched into the market. Digitalisation will bring about enormous
changes both in vehicles and in the value chains associated with
automotive production.
By organising platforms such as ”Zulieferer Innovativ”, the Cluster
Automotive, professionally managed by Bayern Innovativ GmbH,
brings together stakeholders from the automotive industry as
well as technology companies from other sectors and research
institutions at the Bavarian, German and international level.
The cluster management supports the collaboration of companies
and scientific institutions by providing in-depth services directly in
the open innovation process. Bayern Innovativ GmbH has become
an established point of contact for those seeking ideas and looking
for business partners thanks to its varied expertise.
I am looking forward to a successful ”Zulieferer Innovativ” congress
and invite everyone who is interested to join.
”Zulieferer Innovativ” aims to give answers to the current
questions in the automotive world: What are the customers and
markets of the future? How are value added structures changing?
Will new vehicle concepts become accepted? What is the impact
