Zeit zur freien Verfügung: eventuell Fahrt auf den Klausberg, damit die Teilnehmer die Eisblöcke (diese befinden sich bei der Bergstation der Kabinenbahn K2 auf 2500 m Meereshöhe) begutachten können. Die Gratis-Skipässe erhalten die Künstler an der Kassa der Talstation.

20.30 Uhr: Treffpunkt beim Skiverleih im Skihaus neben der Talstation. Gemeinsam erleben wir den Klausberg bei Nacht und genießen den Sternenhimmel über Steinhaus während einer flotten Rodelfahrt vom Berg ins Tal. Beim „Standlzauber“ am Parkplatz der Skiarena erwarten uns Musik und Glühwein.

ore 20.30: punto d’incontro: noleggio sci nello Skihaus vicino alla stazione a valle. Insieme vivremo il Klausberg di notte e godremo il cielo notturno sopra i tetti di Cadipietra durante una discesa veloce con lo slittino giù dalla montagna fino a valle. Alla stazione a valle vi aspetterà una serata frizzante con vin brulé e musica.

8.30 p.m.: Meeting point at the ski rental in the skihouse next to the valley station. Together we shall enjoy the Klausberg by night and the starry sky above Steinhaus during a fast toboggan trip from the mountain down to the valley.
At the „Standlzauber“ at the car park music and hot wine punch will wait for us.

Messlatte, Pickel und Schaufel sind ihr Werkzeug; Bergstiefel, Wollmützen und Handschuhe ihre wichtigste Ausrüstung und der Wettergott ihr großer Gönner.
Alle am 5. Schnee-Skulpturen-Wettbewerb “OLYMPIC-ICE-GAMES 2014” am Klausberg teilnehmenden Künstlerinnen und Künstler darf ich im Namen der Gemeinde Ahrntal herzlich
willkommen heißen.
Ich freue mich, dass nun bereits zum 5. Mal dieser Wettbewerb am Klausberg ausgetragen
wird. Dem Tourismusverein Ahrntal spreche ich einen großen Dank für seine Bemühungen
und seinen Einsatz aus, damit diese Veranstaltung erneut durchgeführt werden kann. Vom 12. Jänner 2014 bis zum 17. Jänner 2014
wird sich der Klausberg wieder in ein beeindruckendes Eis-Künstleratelier unter freiem Himmel verwandeln - diesmal unter dem
Motto “Winterolympiade“.
Dem diesjährigen Schnee-Skulpturen-Festival wünsche ich einen guten Verlauf, allen Bewerbern viel Kreativität und Erfolg in ihrem
künstlerischen Schaffen und dem Organisationsteam mit allen Mitarbeitern alles Gute.
Freuen wir uns wieder auf einen Wettbewerb, der zum Verweilen, Bewundern und Staunen einlädt - und schöne, bleibende Eindrücke
hinterlässt!
beim 5. Internationalen Schneeskulpturenfestival am Klausberg.
Imposant in der klaren Winterluft, bizarr, die phantasievollen Gebilde, Skulpturen, Formen
und Körper aus Schnee, aus den Schneewürfeln werden die teilnehmenden Mannschaften aus aller Herren Länder ihrem Einfallsreichtum freien Lauf lassen. Das Ergebnis dieser Arbeit in der kalten Jännerluft sind phantasievolle Skulpturen zum Thema
„OLYMPIC WINTER GAMES“. Die handgefertigten „Formen in Weiß“ werden solange für jeden Pistenfan zu sehen sein, bis die
Frühjahrssonne dem prunkvollen Dasein der „Riesen-Werke“ ein Ende bereitet.
Mit einem Danke an die Verantwortlichen und Mitarbeiter der Kabinenbahn Klausberg, die Hütten und Betriebe entrichte ich
einen aufrichtigen Willkommensgruß an die Gäste, an die Künstler, mit der Gewissheit, dass wir alle einmalige Emotionen erleben werden.

Nell’accogliere cordialmente ciascuno degli artisti partecipanti, mi fa piacere che ormai il 5° concorso di sculture di neve “OLYMPICICE-GAMES 2014” abbia luogo presso il comprensorio Klausberg.
Vorrei ringraziare l’Associazione Turistica della Valle Aurina per il profondo impegno e gli sforzi profusi, affinché questa bellissima
manifestazione potesse vedere la luce ed essere vissuta da tutti noi.
Dal 12 gennaio 2014 al 17 gennaio 2014 il comprensorio „Klausberg“ si trasformerà di nuovo in un atelier di neve e di ghiaccio
all’aperto - questa volta sotto il motto “Olympic Ice Games”.

Stadia, piccone e pala sono i loro strumenti; scarponi da montagna, berretti di lana e guanti la loro attrezzatura e
il dio del tempo loro protettore.

al 5° Concorso Internazionale Sculture di Neve – ICE GAMES al Klausberg.
Maestoso nell’aria chiara dell’inverno, bizzarro, figure fantastiche; le sculture, le forme e il corpo di neve, da un blocco di neve
e ghiaccio i partecipanti di tutto il mondo sfogano la loro ingegnosità. Il risultato di questo lavoro sono sculture incomparabili
costruite nel freddo dell’aria di gennaio sul tema “OLYMPIC WINTER GAMES”.
“Le opere bianche” realizzate a mano sono visitabili per tutti gli amanti di neve, finché il sole primaverile porrà fine alle maestose
sculture. Con un ringraziamento ai funzionari e collaboratori della cabinovia Klausberg, alle malghe, alloggi e aziende porgo un
cordiale benvenuto ai nostri ospiti e agli artisti. Passeremo una settimana con emozioni uniche e indimenticabili.

On behalf of the municipality of Ahrntal, I would like to welcome all artists who participate in the snow sculpture competition
“OLYMPIC-ICE-GAMES 2014”. It is a great pleasure that this festival takes place for the 5th time in the skiing area Klausberg.
I wish to express my gratitude to the tourist association of Ahrntal for its great commitment and efforts in organizing this event.
From January 12th to 17th 2014, the skiing area Klausberg will again transform into an impressive open air artist’s studio. This
year’s motto is “Winter Olympics”.
I wish the organizing team and its employees all the best and a successful course of this year’s snow sculpture festival. I wish all
artists good luck and creativity for their artistic creation.

to the 5th International snow sculpture competition on Klausberg.
Imposing in the clear winter air, bizarre, imaginative creations, sculptures, shapes and bodies of snow. The participants from all
over the world let one’s imagination run wild on the snow cubes. The results of this hard work in the cold January are marvelous
masterpieces of snow to the subject “OLYMPIC WINTER GAMES”. The handmade “Shapes in White” can be seen by every winterand by every snow-fan until the warm spring sun brings the “giant works” to an end.
With a thank to the Organizer and employees of the SkiArena Klausberg, the huts, accommodations and companies I send a warm
welcome to our guests and to the artists. I’m sure, that during the competition we will live to see unique emotions.
