BESCHREIBUNG
Lichtleitende Glasfasern, umhüllt mit
schwarzem PVC, sind für den Betrachter
unsichtbar im Stoff fixiert.
Nur die Faserenden schauen aus dem
Vorhang und geben die Lichtenergie frei.
Ein sich zwischen Lichtquelle und
Lichtkreis drehendes Farbrad steuert den
Farbablauf der Lichtpunkte. Das Rad
verteilt und wechselt seine Farben
gleichzeitig auf die Glasfasern.
Eine Lichtquelle versorgt einen Lichtkreis
von bis zu 400 Lichtpunkten auf einer
Fläche optimal.
Mit 2 Lichtquellen kann man die Anzahl
der Lichtpunkte pro Fläche verdoppeln
oder mit 2 getrennten Lichtkreisen
arbeiten. Damit sind Farbmischungen
und Farbrhythmuswechsel realisierbar.
Auch die typisch blinkenden Effekte
eines Sternenhimmels.

innerhalb eines Lichtkreises sind
möglich.

DESCRIPTIF
Des fibres de verre optiques recouvertes
de PVC noir sont fixées dans le tissu et
invisibles au spectateur.
Seules les extrémités des fibres pointent
à travers le rideau et libèrent l´énergie
lumineuse.
Une roue de couleurs tournant entre la
source lumineuse et le toron des fibres
commande la séquence des couleurs
des points lumineux. La roue tourne et
transmet ses couleurs instantanément
aux fibres de verre.
Une source lumineuse alimente un cir
cuit de fibres jusqu´à 400 points pour
une surface donnée.
Deux sources lumineuses (pour une
même surface) permettent de doubler la
densité en points lumineux et/ou de
profiter des effets de deux circuits
séparés :
on peut ainsi réaliser des changements
de combinaisons et de rythmes des
couleurs, ou reproduire l´illusion parfaite
d´un ciel étoilé scintillant.

L´intensité lumineuse des points varie en
fonction du diamètre des fibres (1,0 ou
2,0 mm) et de la puissance de la source

Vous pouvez combiner différents
diamètres de fibres à l´intérieur d´un
seul circuit.

Light conducting glass fibers, coated
with black PVC, are discretely fixed in
the fabric and are invisible to the
observer. Only the ends of the fibers
protrude from the curtain to release the
light energy.
A colour wheel that rotates between the
light source and light circle controls the
colour sequence of the points of light.
The wheel distributes and simultaneously
changes its colours through the glass
fibers.
A light source optimally provides a light
circle with up to 400 points of light on
one surface area.
It is possible to double the number of
points of light on one surface area by
using 2 light sources or with 2 separate
light circles thereby achieving colour
mixtures and colour rhythm changes as
well as the typical twinkling effects of a
starry sky.

fertigen und konfektionieren wir die
Verkleidungen maßgenau, steckerfertig
und gestalterisch ganz nach Ihren
Wünschen.
Jeden Glasfaserleiter fixieren wir
zusätzlich in kurzen Abständen an ein
Trägernetz zwischen Stoff und Futter.
So sind alle Lichtleiter zugentlastet, sie
können weder verrutschen noch knicken.
Diese Konzeption garantiert eine lange
Lebensdauer.
STARLIGHT-Ausstattungen gehen auch
mit auf Tournee. Einfach aufhängen
und nach der Show wieder gefaltet einpacken. Die passenden Flightcases

FINITION
Nous confectionnons vos rideaux "étoile"
dans nos ateliers selon votre conception,
sur mesure et prêts à brancher.
Lors de l´assemblage, chaque fibre
optique sera fixée, à de courts
intervalles, le long d´un filet auxiliaire.
Ainsi, rien ne peut bouger.
Cette technique est la garantie pour une
grande longévité.
Nos rideaux en fibres optiques partent
avec vous en tournée. Il suffit de
suspendre et replier ces derniers après le
spectacle.
Sur demande, nous vous proposons les
flight-cases adaptés aux rideaux.
FABRICATION
In our studios and workshops we
manufacture the paneling exactly to your
specifications.
We attach each fiberglass wire to a
supporting net between the fabric and
the lining, on close centers, so that all
the wires are relieved of any tension and
can neither slip nor buckle.
This concept guarantees durability and a
long life.
STARLIGHT equipment can also be
brought along on tour. Simply hang it up
and pack it away, folded, after the show.
We can also supply the appropriate
flight-cases.
SECURITE
GERRIETS vous garantit un produit de
haute sécurité. Tous les matériaux
utilisés sont ignifugés.
A l´intérieur des fibres de verre circule
de la lumière, pas de courant électrique.

SAFETY
GERRIETS guarantees the very highest
safety standards. All the materials we
use have flame-retardant properties that
comply, at least, with DIN 4102 B1
(Germany's highest standard for
flammable materials).
Only light passes through the glass
fibers, no electric current. The points of
light do not get hot and thus cannot
burn out.
No electric cables are needed.
FIBRE OPTICS TECHNOLOGY emits
neither ultraviolet nor infrared radiation.

Bei Festeinbau einer Deckenbeleuchtung
sorgen verschiedene Linsen für eine
differenzierte Lichtabstrahlung: seitlich
abstrahlend, glitzernd, gebrochen, diffus,
fließend oder klar.
Auch die Größe der Linsen ist variabel
und daher besonders interessant für
überzeugende Nachthimmel.

Dans le cas de rideaux fixes (tentures,
vélums), il est possible de placer la
source lumineuse au centre du rideau.
Cette construction en forme de toile
d´araignée permet d´économiser des
fibres... et de l´argent.

The standard light source with an MR 16
halogen lamp has 100 watts.
LENSES
A number of different lenses are
available to create unusual effects: 90
degree beaming sideways, glittering,
broken, diffuse, continuous or clear
lenses.
They are also available in various sizes
and are therefore particularly useful for
creating realistic night skies.
INCIDENTALLY
In the case of fixed curtain drops, the
light source can be attached centrally
behind the surface of the fabric. This is
an economical method as a reduced
number of fiber optic strands can be
attached in a cobweb-like manner from
one source.
