Duplex
Zielen mit Diopter und Ringkorn, eine nahezu optimale
Lösung. Aber selbst annähernd perfekte Lösungen
lassen sich noch verbessern. Im Leistungssport
zählt jedes Zehntel. Gerade
beim Zielen treten minimale
Toleranzen auf, die auf das
„Verklemmen“ des Korns in
der Irisöffnung zurückzuführen sind. Wer Tunnel und
Korn in der Höhe oder seitlich verschiebt, wird seinen
Treffer ungewollt verlagern.
Um Mängel in der Zentrierung des Korns zu vermeiden, kommt es auf die Aufmerksamkeit des Schützen
an. Der muss sich bei jedem
Schuss darauf konzentrieren, das Auge jeweils genau
in die Mitte der Irisöffnung
zu bringen. Bei schwierigen
Lichtverhältnissen oder über
längere Serien geschieht
das kaum fehlerfrei. Mit
dem „Duplex“, wurde eine
zusätzliche Zentrierebene
realisiert, ohne die Konzentration zu belasten. Der dabei
entstandene Zwischenring
bzw. ZwischenIris, warnt
das Auge deutlicher sobald
eine Verlagerung auftaucht.
Um diesen Zwischenring
zentrisch in der Ziellinie zu
positionieren auch wenn der
Diopter verstellt wird, war die
eigentliche Herausforderung.
Entstanden ist eine X-Y-Verstelleinheit in Miniaturformat.

Aiming with micrometer
peep sights and front-sighttunnel, a nearly optimal
solution.
But even nearly perfect solutions can be still improved.
In competitive sports, each
point counts. Especially during aiming appear minimal
tolerances, which are due to
the jamming of the frontsight in the iris-apperture. If
the front-sight not exactly in
the center of the iris-apperture, the shot will miss the
bulls eye.
The shooter have to take
maximum care to avoid mistakes in this case. He have
to be concentrated in each
shot, that his eye is exactly
in the middle of his rear-iris.
In challenging light-conditions and for longer series,
it´s very heavy to make no
errors.
The „Duplex“ is an additional
centering-unit, whitout burdening the concentration.
The resulting intermediate
ring, warned the eye more
clearly when an error appears.
A real challenge was the
positioning of this additional
ring concentric in the sightline.
The result is an X-Y adjustment-unit, the Duplex.
