In enger Zusammenarbeit mit internationalen Kunden der Öl- und
Gas-Branche wurde in den vergangenen Jahren das Material PP-AC für
Kunststoff-Schellenkörper entwickelt. Es verzögert die Bildung von
Spaltkorrosion, verlängert die Wartungsintervalle an On- und OffshoreAnlagen deutlich, minimiert Serviceaufwand und -kosten und erschließt
so enorme Einsparpotenziale.
In close cooperation with international clients in the oil and gas industry,
the PP-AC material has been developed in recent years for plastic clamp
bodies. It delays the formation of crevice corrosion significantly, lengthens
the maintenance intervals on installations in the onshore and offshore
industry, minimises servicing requirements and costs, delivering
tremendous potential savings.
Der auf herkömmlichem Polypropylen basierende Werkstoff PP-AC
verzögert durch Abgabe eines besonderen Korrosionsschutz-Inhibitors
an den Spalt zwischen Schellenkörper und Edelstahlrohr die Bildung von
Spaltkorrosion. Die exzellenten Werkstoffeigenschaften des bewährten
Polypropylen-Materials bleiben dabei selbstverständlich erhalten.
The conventional Polypropylene-based material PP-AC delays the formation
of crevice corrosion by depositing a special corrosion protection inhibitor
in the gap between clamp body and stainless steel pipe, whilst maintaining
the extraordinary characteristics and values of the proven standard
Polypropylene material.
Diese Eigenschaft wurde erfolgreich in Versuchen in der Salzsprühnebelkammer gemäß ISO 9227 / ASTM B117 sowie in hausinternen
SO2-Untersuchungen (5 Durchgänge) getestet und bestätigt.
This property has been successfully successfully tested and confirmed in
salt spray cabinet trials according to ISO 9227 / ASTM B117 and also in
internal 5 cycles SO2 studies.
