Jungheinrich ranks among the world’s leading companies in
the material handling equipment, warehousing and material
flow engineering sectors. Established in 1953 in Hamburg,
Germany, the company has developed into a service provider
with manufacturing operations as well as an intralogistics
solution provider. Jungheinrich offers its customers a comprehensive range of forklift trucks, shelving systems, services
and consulting. These services include the short-term hire and

sales financing of products, maintenance and repair as well
as used equipment reconditioning and sales—all rounded
off by our mail-order business. Today Jungheinrich employs
some 10,000 staff members in 31 countries, just under half
of them located in Germany. The German production plants
at Norderstedt and Lüneburg (both near Hamburg) as well
as Moosburg (near Munich) and Landsberg (near Halle) are
complemented by a plant in Qingpu, Shanghai (China).

of rental cases, a Jungheinrich stacker is already on its way
to you within two hours. Our centrally organised rental fleet

The constant evolution of intralogistics confronts Jungheinrich

and production. That is why Jungheinrich trucks and solutions are equally convincing in the areas of energy efficiency,
operating costs, ergonomics and safety. Innovative and environmentally-friendly production facilities stand for the highest
level of production efficiency. Our production locations are
designed to be independent “Centres of Excellence”, and are
located in Norderstedt and Lüneburg (both near Hamburg),
as well as Moosburg (near Munich) and Landsberg (near
Halle). The addition of a plant in Qingpu, Shanghai (China)
has allowed us to expand our production for the Asian market.

As an internationally active enterprise, we recognised and
tackled fundamental issues like energy efficiency and environmental protection at an early stage. Today ecological thinking
and acting is a firm component of our corporate philosophy
and runs like a red thread through all our production and
service divisions. Environmental compatibility is already built
into the development phase of our trucks, laying the ground-
work for subsequent recycling of components. In our manufacturing operations and after-sales service, our internal
ecological requirements are often more stringent than the law
requires. We conserve raw materials and energy as much as
possible and are careful to recycle residual materials. In this
way, Jungheinrich is doing its part to protect the environment.
