acquisition of Swedish reel wrapping machine manufacturer, BUMA AB, and the North German
specialists for pallet packaging systems, REKER.
This has not only resulted in the logical expansion of the product range, but also a concentration of
technical know-how.
EBRAS (ENGINEER BRAIN SERVICES), an internal EBERTH division, manages and coordinates this
expert knowledge and provides it as an independent service.
EBRAS knowledge flowed into a new product line. A substantial cost reduction with regard to installation and ongoing operation was able to be achieved with SMARTWRAP 3.0.
