1 Control logics
Equipped with microprocessor, it manages 3 power
modules.If combined with a power expansion
module, it can manage up to 6 power modules,
thus increasing power from 20 to 40kVA.
It comes equipped with a multifunction display
and keyboard to monitor UPS operating parameters,
and to configure numerous functions.
It can be connected in parallel to other control
modules and with power modules.
On the front side, there is a backlit status indicator to
immediately identify the system’s operation status,
and an RS232 communication port for maintenance.

2 Power modules
Power modules, with power equal to 6.7 kVA,
are extremely compact and easy to move.
Equipped with a plug-in and real hot-swap system,
installation and maintenance is quick.
They work in parallel with all modules to guarantee
maximum system performance.

3 Power expansion module
It must be combined with a control module.
Power can be increased from 20 to 40 kVA,
and redundancy on single-phase can be set.
4 Battery module

Each module has batteries that can be connected
to others in series, creating independent strings.
The compactness and functionality of individual
modules (plug-in) means they can be easily moved
and expanded without changing the installed
solution (flexibility and scalability).
5 Distribution
UPS can be configured directly on site into different
distribution systems (three-three, three-single,
single-single and single-three). Inside there
are terminal blocks for in-out connection,
movement and protection components, and the
predisposition for additional battery cabinets.
Power supply can be configured on two separate
input networks (primary and emergency by-pass).
6 Input cable
Input cable compartments allow inserting in-out
connection cables at both the top and bottom.

THREE-PHASE
The completely modular structure enables programming each
individual power module in order to obtain the desired input/output
configuration.
It is possible to manage three-phase or single-phase output
and input voltage in order to choose, 3-3 phases, 3-1 phases,
1-3 phases and 1-1 phase.
Furthermore, it is possible to obtain single-phase and three-phase
output lines simultaneously or two or more single-phase lines,
even of different power levels (upon request).
Control display
The TRIMOD system is completely managed by
a microprocessor and using the keyboard on
the LCD display it is possible to:
- set and view operational data in real time
- configure and control parameters for each
power module
- access event logs
- complete functional tests
Compact and reduced footprint versions
The compact dimensions, the vertical build of the structure
and 2 small wheels located in the rear help with positioning and
transporting the UPS, even in rooms that are not easy to access.

All models have a microprocessor control
card that can be configured on
the display, by modules powered by
1250 VA each, and by battery kits
that contain no. 3x9Ah batteries.

SINGLE-PHASE
The single cabinet and 19 inch rack models issue a power from
1250 to 5000 VA, they can house a maximum of 4 power boards
and 4 battery kits. Additional batteries can be stored in specific
cabinets, which can be easily connected thanks to an uptime
upgrading pre-setting.
The range is completed with products made of two cabinets;
the first cabinet can house up to 8 power modules,
each up to 1250 VA, reaching a maximum power of 10kVA.
In the second cabinet it is possible to insert up to 10 battery kits
and an additional battery charger.
Other battery cabinets identical to the one supplied can
be added in order to further upgrade uptime.

The issued power, 800 VA to 6,000 VA, allows for high level
electrical protection for equipment whose power consumption is
not too high.
The UPS are made of a single board that integrates control power
and logic, control and diagnostics.
Thanks to the reduced footprint and the extended and tight shape,
the WHAD UPS occupy very little space, even if placed on top of a
work station.
Models up to 2500 VA can extend uptime by adding battery
cabinets.
In the most performing version there is a slot for inserting internal
versions of the SNMP communication interfaces.

Reduces overall dimensions, depth of 185 mm, allows positioning

The special hermetically sealed batteries, that do not release any
gas fumes, make it possible to use within home environments.
Load management
The 1500 VA model is equipped with 3
outputs, 2 of them are times for inverter
operation, since they deactivate after a
pre-set interval, they make it possible to
safeguard the power supply of the most
important loads based on available uptime.
Plug-in connection with hot swap system
“Standard” components and quick connections make
it possible for the less expert to transport and install every
element of the system easily and, thanks to the hot swap
system, it is possible to add or replace battery packs at any time,
without shutting off the inverter.

The display shows the main system parameters and their status, including the battery charge level and malfunctions.
The integrated communication software allows not only controlling the uninterruptable power supply and stopping in case of equipment malfunction, it also allows the user to
remotely test the main functions of the uninterruptable power supply, communicating through SNMP/Internet/network adaptor, accessing uninterruptable power supply unit
functions by way of Internet and also sending the user an SMS if specific events occur.
The optional slot provides additional flexibility for network configuration. There is also a WEB/SNMP board and a relay interface available that are capable of supplying
isolated contacts for application on industrial control panel or remote alarm panels.
The automatic and manual bypass (optional) guarantees continual electrical power supply to critical loads, in case of electronic malfunction, overload, overheating or
programmed maintenance. A maintenance bypass switch box is available.

The network interface for UPS management does not require external software. There
is a a 32 bit internal processor with a proprietary operating system that can continously
monitor UPS operation and handle multiple events (no power, overload, bypass,
anomaly, ...); as a result, it executes the following actions:
• Saving log files complete with date and time
• Saving the trend of the main operational data complete with date and time
• Sending e-mail
• Executing scheduled actions
• Displaying pop-up messages, carrying out a shutdown and customised commands
on remote computers (it is necessary for these computers to have the RCCMD
software)
• Shutting off and turning on the UPS
• Sending “Wake on LAN (WOL) Magic Packet” signals
• Support for the SNMP protocol and the main management software (HP OpenView,
IBM Tivoli, etc…)
• Sending SNMP trap messages
• Displaying data and configuration through internet browser (Internet Explorer,
Mozilla Firefox, Opera, etc…) or Telnet
• Firmware can be updated through specific software package that can be downloaded
from the Internet for free
• Ethernet connection 10/100Mbit Base-T (half-duplex and full-duplex) with autorecognition function
• DHCP Function

(PROFESSIONAL and INDUSTRIAL versions) previously described.
“Scale Divisor” and “Off set” configuration functions allow using
the SensorManager with any analogue apparatus (see features).
Includes 1 temperature sensor “SM_T”.
3 109 00 Temperature sensor can be used exclusively with
SensorManager.
Allows connecting another “SM_T” sensor using the specific

Load management control unit (SiteSwitch)

It is a device used to control energy distribution and it allows shutting down and turning
on devices connected to it individually thanks to the four independent power supply.
When without power, for example, a UPS can send a command to shut off less important
loads (such as laser printers) in order to ensure the greatest possible uptime to the
most critical systems. Once network power has been restored, the same UPS can send
the command to turn on these loads.
In the front part there are 5 LEDs that allow verifying the status of the main power
supply and every output.
Brackets that allow installation inside the 19” rack cabinet are included.
SiteSwitch 4 is available in two versions: SS4 and SS4 AUX.

It is the most performing version, inside there is a network card installed that
receives, through TCP/IP, the controls sent by the CS121 network interface
(any model) that manages the UPS.
This allows installing SiteSwitch near the loads to be powered and allows a
UPS to control a potentially infinite number of control units.
The presence of a CS121 SK network interface inside the SS4 also guarantees
autonomous operation, i.e. without
receiving commands from a UPS: from the WEB interface it is possible to send
commands to the computer (through the RCCMD software),
program switch on and shut off, sending e-mail and managing environmental
sensors.
It is compatible with the SNMP protocol.

UPS PowerCall
UPS PowerCall is a monitoring and remote diagnostics system
that guarantees continual UPS checking, thanks to a 24 / 7, 365
days a year connection with the operating control room.
The PowerCall service ensures daily support, real time remote
diagnostics and quick on-site intervention, in case of anomalies.
During normal operation:
The UPS sends data to the operating control room, information
is gathered, recorded and evaluated by a team of experts.
Operational data is made available in a report that is periodically
sent to customers.
In case of anomaly, there are 3 different solutions, according to the
seriousness level:
Event recording.
Remote problem resolution.
Sending a technician on-site.
In case of emergency:
The technical department is responsible for the customer request
in real time. The customer is immediately contacted to verify the
conditions of the UPS.
A specialised technician goes on-site to repair the breakdown.
Warranty Formulas
There are two warranty formulas available to satisfy customer needs.
EXCHANGE FORMULA
Includes complete product replacement in case of breakdown or
malfunction. After the anomaly has been discovered, the technical
department sends the customer a module with the instructions
necessary to replace the uninterruptable power supply.
ON-SITE FORMULA
Includes technician assistance and repair at the site where the
product has been installed.
In the standard on-site Formula, the intervention is foreseen within
three work days after the call, two for MT series UPS.
The customer can choose a customised Formula if wanting to reduce
intervention time even further.
