Homoeopathic cough drops
The six homoeopathic ingredients are a powerful
combination against inflammations of the respiratory
tract like bronchitis.
Drosera D4 is indicated for the relief of spasmodic cough at
night, causing pain in the chest so much that the chest is being
held with hands. 1
Hepar sulfuris D6 is used in case of bronchitis 2, cough attacks
upon exposure part of the body to the cold, tickle in the throat
evoking cough and cough until vomiting. 3
Bryonia D3 is indicated in case of hard and dry cough which
deteriorates at entering a warm room. The chest must be held
during painful cough attacks. Cough gets better when lying on
the painful side. Pain in pectoral muscles and diaphragm make
breathing difficult. 4
Eucalyptus globulus D3 is indicated in case of inflammation
of the respiratory tract. 5
Echinacea purpurea D4 is used as supporting treatment of
severe and feverish infections. 6
Psychotria ipecacuanha D4 is indicated in case of dry cough,
cough at every breath and a feeling of tying up in the throat
as well as rattle of mucus. 7 Psychotria ipecacuanha is used for
viscous mucus which is difficult to expectorate, spasmodic cough
with difficulties to breathe and hoarseness. 8

Homoeopathic cough drops
Composition:
1ml contains: Drosera D4, Hepar sulfuris D6, Bryonia D3, Eucalyptus globulus D3, Echinacea
purpurea D4, Psychotria ipecacuanha D4, aa ad 1ml. Contains 55 % v/v alcohol (ethanol).
Indications:
According to homoeopathic principles in case of acute inflammation of the respiratory tract
(e.g. bronchitis), dry and chesty cough, spasmodic cough, itchy throat and viscous mucus which
is difficult to expectorate.
Dosage:
Unless otherwise prescribed by a doctor 10 drops dissolved in water several times a day.
Children from the age of 2 years take 5 drops 3 times a day dissolved in water.
Contraindications / restrictions for use:
Intolerance to one of the ingredients.
Recurrent or persistent symptoms (longer than 7 days) require a consultation of a doctor.
As a general precautionary measure, medication should be avoided during pregnancy and
lactation if possible, or a doctor or pharmacist should be consulted.
Side effects:
Homoeopathic remedies can occasionally cause an initial aggravation or worsening of the
symptoms. Seek professional advice if this occurs.
The base of these homoeopathic dilutions are extracts of fresh or dried plants or minerals,
prepared with an alcohol-water mixture according to the German Homoeopathic Pharma­
copoeia (GHP), manufactured at the GMP certified company Herbamed AG (Switzerland).
