This first European Rhinoplasty Summit is organized by the European
Academy of Facial Plastic Surgery (EAFPS), together with APKO (Arbeitsgemeinschaft Plastische, Rekonstruktive und Ästhetische Kopf-Hals-Chirurgie),
an association of the German ORL-Society.
The faculty has been chosen among the leaders of rhinoplasty of each
European country in addition to very distinguished internationally well
respected teachers from other continents. The academic program includes
comprehensive lectures and panels on recent surgical and scientific advances in rhinoplasty. Besides, there are oral presentations and posters from the
participants. Among the highlights there are live surgical demonstrations by
much acknowledged experts, and the opportunity of master-guided practical
training.
The presidents of the organizing societies, the co-directors and the entire
faculty welcome you as an esteemed participant in one of the most exciting
meetings on rhinoplasty of the year in Europe. Expect a high learning effect
through intense discussions, and days of vivid and pleasant conversations

to Nymphenburg palace, the former summer Residence of the Wittelsbach dynasty.
Nymphenburg palace and its surrounding
park is a one of the biggest baroque palaces
in the world. On a guided tour we will explore
the many lavishly decorated rooms. Besides
we visit the special porcelain collection in the
palace museum. In between there is enough
time for a coffee break and the museum shop.

Beautiful Palace Herrenchiemsee
Your personal guide meets you at
Hauptbahnhof (Main station). A private
coach takes us to lake Chiemsee, “the
Bavarian Sea”! We do a short boat trip
to the island Herrenchiemsee, where
the Bavarian king Ludwig II., also known
as the fairy tale king, built one of his
famous palaces. Modelled on Versailles,
Herrenchiemsee palace was built as a „Temple of Fame“ for King Louis XIV of France,
whom the Bavarian monarch fervently admired. After a guided tour in the palace we
take the boat to the smaller island Frauenchiemsee where we have lunch. After lunch
you have opportunity to explore the island by yourself before we return to Munich by
boat and bus.

Olympic tower and BMW World
Your personal guide meets you at Hauptbahnhof. A
private coach takes us to the Olympic grounds and
the BMW World. In 1972 the XX. Olympic Summer
Games took place here, a turning point for Munich
and Germany. We take a stroll over the Olympic Park
and go on top of the Olympic tower to enjoy the breathtaking view at 181 meters height and a coffee break in the turning restaurant. Besides we visit the BMW
World, an award-winning building of modern architecture and home of many BMW cars and motorbikes.
