House of Hackney
Das „House of Hackney“ wurde
2010 in London von den Eheleuten Javvy M. Royle und Frieda
Gormley gegründet. Das Anliegen der ursprünglichen InterieurMarke war, mit ihren Entwürfen
und Mustern „das Beige aus den
Wohnräumen verschwinden zu
lassen“. Dabei legte man großen
Wert auf Qualität, Design und
Handwerkskunst.
Nach einer sehr minimalistischen
Phase im Interieurbereich setzt
das „House of Hackney“ nun
gekonnt den Zeitgeist um - mit
seinen individuellen Kollektionen
an Printmustern und Produkten,
die zwar von der Tradition geprägt sind, aber diese Tradition
mutig und stylish interpretieren.
Mittlerweile hat sich das „House
of Hackney“ zu einem erfolgreichen, englischen Label für Interieur, Mode und Lifestyle entwickelt. Das „House of Hackney“
genießt heute bereits Kultstatus
bei seinem treuen Kundenstamm aus Trendsettern, Prominenten und Innenarchitekten
und wurde zu DER britischen
Marke für höchst außergewöhnliche Druck-Designs.
Gemäß ihrer Firmenphilosophie,
die von englischem Erbe beeinflusst, aber modern gelebt wird,
bevorzugt das Ehepaar Royle
und Gormley Materialien für ihre
Produkte, die in England hergestellt werden. Sie unterstützen

House of Hackney was established in London in 2010
by husband- and -wife team
Javvy M Royle and Frieda
Gormley. Originally founded as
an interiors label, the
founder’s quest was
‘to take the beige
out of interiors’ with
an emphasis on quality,
design and craftsmanship.
After a decade of bland
minimalism the brand captured the zeitgeist with its
collections of British design
