Wie die Standard KHM-Kupplungen
ist auch die „Smart Clutch“ KHM ein
robustes und verlässliches Element
zum Schalten von Riementrieben bei
Offroad-Fahrzeugen. Ihr kompaktes
Design überträgt hohe Drehmomente
und weist eine hohe Wärmekapazität
zur Beschleunigung großer Massenträgheiten auf. Das spezielle Design
des „Smart Clutch System“ ermöglicht eine sehr genaue Kontrolle des
Rutschdrehmoments bei sehr niedrigen Druckeinstellungen während des
Einkuppelns. Dies stellt eine sanfte
Beschleunigung der Maschine sicher,
ohne dabei den Motor bei niedrigen
Drehzahlen abzuwürgen, während die
Kupplung im komplett eingekuppelten Zustand weiterhin ein hohes Drehmoment übertragen kann.

the “Smart Clutch” KHM is a robust
and reliable element for engaging
belt drives in off-road vehicles.
Their compact design transmits
high torques and exhibits a high
heat capacity for accelerating large
mass inertias. The special design of
the “Smart Clutch System” enables
a very precise control of the slip
torque with very low pressure
settings while engaging the clutch.
This ensures a smooth acceleration
of the machinery without stalling
the engine at low rpm while the
clutch still can transfer high torque
when fully engaged.
