Audio Encyclopedia AE 007 - Fanget an ! Germanic Tenors This disc aims at a systematic survey of Germanic tenors ot the twentieth century. We included in this collection singers from Germany and from other countries singing largely in the German language, in German style and the German fach. Some 84 tenors were selected and are examined in depth. We have chosen representative recordings for each singer, added some biographical data and, in most cases, a photo. Because of its significance to Germanic singing, we have also provided a brief description of the Fach System.
