Department
The Department of Plastic, Hand and Reconstructive
microsurgery specializes in the treatment of complex,
chronic wounds as well as in the management of soft
tissue defects after diseases, injuries and infections.
Further focal points are the microsurgical reconstruction
of the female breast after breast cancer and the treatment of all degenerative and chronic diseases of the
hand.
Thereby the house ensures an elective hand surgery and
emergency care treatment as well as a microsurgical
replantation treatment of the extremities.
The health care provision of tumors in the head and neck
area under the aspects of plastic surgery is also part of
our care spectrum.
As one of the few hospitals in Germany, we stand by our
clients as a competent partner in all types of neck and
arm nerve plexus injuries, facial nerve paralysis and
provide safety and competence in the treatment of burns.
According to the disease and indications an inpatient as
well as an outpatient treatment is possible.
In this process we emphasize on modern reconstruction
techniques and on the establishment of a trust based
relationship with the patient. Every patient will be given
an individual treatment plan and a humane oriented
nursing care and attention.
