Kreativität und technologische Innovation verbinden sich zu
einer Lichtskulptur, die aus einem hölzernen Material mit einer
Materialstärke von nur 2 mm hergestellt wurde, das mit Laser
graviert und wie ein Origami gefaltet wurde. Dies wurde dank eines
komplexen technologischen Verfahrens möglich, das von Horm
patentiert wurde. Das durch die Löcher der Struktur scheinende
LED-Licht erzeugt im Raum einzigartige Schattenspiele, mit denen
es Steven Holl gelingt, dasselbe Gefühl zu vermitteln, das man auch
bei seiner Architektur spürt, aber in einer anderen Dimension.

Creatività e innovazione tecnologica si
fondono in questa scultura luminosa
costruita con un materiale ligneo dallo
spessore di due millimetri, inciso al
laser e piegato come un origami grazie
a un complesso processo tecnologico
brevettato da Horm. La luce a led,
filtrando attraverso i fori della
struttura, riproduce nell’ambiente
circostante giochi d’ombre unici che
permettono a Steven Holl di regalare
la stessa emozione che si respira nelle
sue architetture, con un semplice salto
di scala.

Creativity and innovation come
together in a luminous sculpture
constructed with a 2-mm wooden
material, laser etched, and folded
in an origami-like fashion, thanks
to a complex technological process
patented by Horm. The LED light,
passing through the structure holes,
creates unique plays of shadows that
allow Steven Holl to offer the same
emotion his architecture conveys
albeit at a different scale.

lumineuse fabriquée dans un matériau
à base de bois de 2 millimètres
d’épaisseur, qui est découpé au laser,
puis plié comme un origami, grâce à
un procédé technologique complexe
breveté par Horm. L’éclairage à
LED, en passant à travers les trous
de la structure, reproduit dans la
pièce des jeux d’ombres uniques qui
permettent à Steven Holl d’offrir la
même émotion que celle qui peut être
ressentie dans ses architectures, grâce
à une adaptation simple.
