MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENT (CO-FOUNDER)
In March 2012, „We‟ for Change was born. It was born with different approach especially
focusing the issues of adolescents by the young people. I feel proud to say that „We‟ for Change
is one and functioning organization in Nepal, which is led and governed entirely by youth under
the age of 24. I am sure that this attitude to challenge oneself for progress and betterment makes
„We‟ team dynamic and confident.
Today, I am very pleased to write foreword in Annual Progress Report of „We‟ for Change after
almost two years of establishment of the organization. At the same time, I would like to
acknowledge the efforts of cofounders in establishment of the organization. The organization
would not have been functioning without the passionate work of current executive board. In real,
2013 – 2014 Board‟s contribution has taken organization into new era of Change.
I am very glad that members of the organization are initiating new programs and are eager to
learn more from the seniors. I wish initiation and ideas revived from the members will get a
better platform in the organization. In coming days, „We‟ for Change wish to create more
dynamic youth and youth leaders who contribute to our developing country in dramatic style.
This progress report documents some of the contribution made by the organization in youth
capacity and leadership development. I wish best for the team.

3.2 Living our values
 Quality of life
„We‟ recognize the importance of relevant training, development and learning opportunities both
personal and professional to help the members to work effectively and professionally. „We‟ aims
to install a culture of learning in the organization so that our members can share learning and
develop together learning. „We‟ for Change provides such a working environment where the
member finds fun in work and enjoy taking the responsibility. We are focusing our concern on
developing the skills, talent, and capacity of its member. In addition, the organization provides
different types of internal or external opportunities whereby all its members receive the same
levels of induction, leadership training to ensure that “We” make the most of the talents that is
available within itself.
 Leadership transformation
Leadership transformation itself is the main theme of the organization. Young people (16-24
aged groups) lead the organization where one member will transfer his knowledge to other
through different medium. For this, we are conducting three different internal programs as
Teaching the Technique, Youth Café and Youth Speak up!. Capacity development of its
members either by teaching different skill technique to one another, or by conducting debate,
discussion about different emerging issues within members or some expertise is the main focus
of these programs.
 Health & safety
The security, good health, and safety of our members are a prime responsibility of our
organization. We aim to provide and maintain safe and healthy working conditions, equipment
and systems of work for all members, interns and volunteers; as well as the necessary resources,
information, instruction, training and supervision to achieve this policy.
 Experiment
„We‟ for Change is serving as a platform where members are given opportunity to conduct
program based on their own ideas. „We‟ believe in exploring by doing then learning by doing.
Therefore, it act as a experimental platform for youths to explore things with their own initiation
then working by following order of the one in authority.
3.3 Network partners
We‟ supposes that working through networks enrich the efficiency of its programs and project. It
has active networks and vigorous partners that supports and helps to run the programs in
collective efforts of the organizations. While organizing programs under its thematic areas and
