TimberTech Secures Prestigious Design Award
Merchandiser Set to Increase Channel Sales
Wilmington, OH – October 20, 2010 - Merchandising done correctly creates the optimum
shopping experience for customers. This year, TimberTech and their merchandizing partner,
Downing Retail Display, received a Design of the Times Award for the new TimberTech Aframe display.
TimberTech, the only decking manufacturer to
secure an award, won Bronze in the retail category
for home centers and hardware stores. The new Aframe offers the capability to easily display their wide
spectrum of planking options in a vertical
application that gives customers the ability to
compare and contrast the product offerings.
Additionally, matching or complimentary railing
components are attached.

The Design of the Times Awards Competition recognizes the best in-store merchandising

marketplace. Hundreds of companies submitted their finest in-store solutions vying to win one
of the retail industry’s most coveted awards.
The A-frame display can accommodate up to 20, 4-foot long planks, has a built-in pocket for
product literature, is wheeled for increased mobility and is great for indoor or outdoor use.
