For the area of North and South America we are aggressively seeking an experienced:
Service Engineer for Automation m/w
(based in our Boston office)
The job involves travel to customer sites, working closely with our service team, and fluency
in English.
Your area of responsibility:

acceptance testing and optimization of our tableting machines

commissioning of new machines, and upgrade of existing machines, at customer
sites in North and South America

qualification of and training on our machines at customer sites

assistance and support of our customers by phone for trouble shooting and support
on our control system (PLC and SCADA / HMI)
The position requires the following abilities:

education preferably as graduate engineer either specialized in electronics,
automation or industrial control systems

sound knowledge in handling hardware and software of Siemens based systems
(Simatic, Simotion, WinCC, TIA-Portal), Allen-Bradley based systems (SLC500,
ControlLogix), as well as Wonderware, Profibus, Ethernet etc.

experience in control system maintenance

foreign languages: fluency in German and English required, Spanish desirable
