Dear Member Vereine, Singers, Officers, Music Directors and Friends,
Now that Labor Day is past, I hope you all enjoyed a relaxing and safe summer. The
German-American Club of Binghamton is pleased to host the annual New York State
Sängerbund Convention and cordially invites you to attend the:
New York State Saengerbund Annual Convention
16 and 17 October 2010
Brian Skadowski has reserved 15 rooms (8 king size beds and 7 double beds) for the
NYSSB Convention delegates at the Super 8 Motel in Binghamton, NY. The cost per
room is $75.00 plus tax. When making your reservation, mention his name and use you
tax number if applicable. Check-in time is 3:00 PM; cutoff date for the hotel is noon on
October 15th. Please make your own reservation as soon as possible.

I am looking forward to meeting and being with you all again. Some of the major topics
for the weekend include the 2012 Sängerfest at the Bundes Music Committee Meeting on
Saturday. The Memorial Service will follow the General Business Meeting on Sunday.
There will also be time for Spaß und Gemütlichkeit. Included in the badge price is a
Harvestfest on Saturday evening with a Rouladen dinner and Fritz's Polka Band.
If you have any names to be included in the Sunday Memorial Service please forward
them to Pat Lenga, as soon as possible.
