Electricity Management Other utlities Services Maintenance Other LEED & DGNB The most common sustainability code used in Vietnam has been LEED, and secondarily Lotus. Other codes such as GreenMark (Sing), GreenStar (Aust), BREEAM (UK), and now DGNB are also used. LEED could be said to focus on leadership in energy and environmental design! DGNB has a broader scope including a stronger focus on delivery (as per the latest version of LEED), including commissioning, and incorporates considerable social aspects. LEED is easier, no doubt about that…. both together is more interesting. The building systems should provide a healthier environment for the occupants, and a higher quality working environment. The service charge mix should alter with a reduced electricity cost allowing either a higher quality of service or a reduction in service charge.
