Dämonen sind Wesenheiten der Siebten Sphäre und somit
Manifestationen des Chaos, daher ist es grundsätzlich ihr Ziel, die
Ordnung in den Sphären zu verringern - mit anderen Worten, sie wollen
die Schöpfung vernichten, im Gegensatz zum Namenlosen, der sie
beherrschen will.
Von den Derischen Gelehrten werden Dämonen in Domänen eingeordnet,
einige gelten jedoch als freie Dämonen. Weiterhin werden Dämonen nach
ihrer Macht eingeteilt: Niederen Dämonen, Gehörnten Dämonen,
Erzdämonen. Auch gibt es Gerüchte über einen Dämonensultan.
Die Siebte Sphäre wird auch als Niederhöllen bezeichnet und umfasst all
das, was sich außerhalb der sechs geordneten Sphären befindet. Manche
aventurischen Magiekundige postulieren neben den Niederhöllen die
Oberhöllen als einen Bereich völligen Chaos' in den Tiefen dieser Sphäre.
Es wird spekuliert, dass der geheimnisvolle Dämonensultan über diese
Sphäre herrscht.
Diese Sphäre ist in 13 Domänen unterteilt, von denen zwölf das Reich je
eines Erzdämons darstellen und die sich bis in die Unendlichkeit
erstrecken. Die meisten Dämonen lassen sich einem dieser Erzdämonen
zuordnen.
Alle Seelen, die aus der Dritten Sphäre hierher aufsteigen, kommen in
die Seelenmühle.
Der Dämonensultan, auch Fürst der Finsternis, Der-Dessen-Namen-ManNicht-Nennt, Verhöhner der Zwölfe und Letztgültiger Meister der Siebten
Sphäre genannt, ist ein unbeschwörbarer, immerwährender Dämon, der
eine nicht eindeutig beschreibbare Macht darstellt. Der Besitzer der
Seelenmühle ist der oberste aller Dämonen und soll der Herrscher der
Niederhöllen und der Erzdämonen sein. In den Gigantenkriegen fochten
Giganten und Götter gegen ihn. Später entführte er Pardona in die
Niederhöllen.
Der Würfelbecher besteht aus dem Becher und einem Deckel, auf beiden
ist der Dämonenkreis mit den Symbolen der zwölf Erzdämonen
aufgedruckt.
Und der DSA Würfelbecher wird auch mit zwei zum Becher passenden
sechsseitigen Würfeln ausgeliefert, auf denen auch der Dämonenkreis
mit den Symbolen der zwölf Erzdämonen aufgedruckt ist.
Auf deutsch erscheint in diesem Monat der erste Abenteuerpfad, Aber
was ist das?
Es handelt sich um das Kernprodukt von Paizo.
Paizo war schon zu D&D-3.5-Zeiten bekannt für die hohe Qualität seiner
Abenteuer, die im legendären Dungeon-Magazin erschienen. Irgendwann
entstand die Idee, aufeinander aufbauende Abenteuer in Form monatlich
erscheinender Folgeabenteuer zu veröffentlichen, den Abenteuerpfaden.
Ergänzt wurden die einzelnen Abenteuer durch Begleitartikel, die
zusätzliche Hintergrundinformationen enthielten.
Die jetzigen Abenteuerpfade bilden die Fortentwicklung der damals im
Magazin erscheinenden Abenteuer:
Ein Abenteuerpfad besteht aus jeweils sechs Teilen, die monatlicher
Folge erscheinen. Jeder Teil besteht aus 96 vollfarbigen Seiten in der
gewohnt ansprechenden Aufmachung von Paizo.
Ca. die Hälfte des Bandes wird vom Abenteuer eingenommen. Die andere
Hälfte besteht aus all dem, was Spieler- und Spielleiterherz mit Freude
erfüllt: einer Fortsetzungskurzgeschichte, die meist am Schauplatz der
Abenteuer angesiedelt ist, Hintergrundartikel, in der die Welt genauer
vorgestellt wird und natürlich dem Bestiarium, das neue schöne Monster
enthält, die zum Abenteuerpfad passend neue Überraschungen für
Spieler bereit halten.
Worum geht es im Abenteuerpfad Der Schlangenschädel?
Der Schlangenschädel ist der erste auf Deutsch erscheinende
Abenteuerpfad. Er bietet eine spannende Mischung verschiedener
Elemente: Die Spieler finden sich gestrandet auf einer Insel wieder. Nach
und nach stellen sie fest, dass der Schiffbruch von langer Hand
vorbereitet wurde. Einige der MItgestrandeten verfolgen ganz eigene
Ziele und zu allem Überdruss wird die Insel von Kannibalen und anderen
unliebsamen Wesen bewohnt. Gegen Ende des ersten Teils des
Abenteuerpfad-Teils stoßen die Abenteurer auf eine geheimnisvolle
Tempelruine, die Hinweise auf eine sagenumwobene Ruinenstadt
inmitten des Dschungels von Garund enthält. Die Botschaft ihrer
Entdeckung eilt den Abenteurern bei ihrer Flucht von der Insel voraus und
so werben bei ihrer Ankunft in der ehemaligen Kolonie Sargava
verschiedene Fraktionen um ihre Unterstützung bei der Suche nach der
untergegangenen Stadt - neben der Regierung auch Mitglieder eines
Assassinenkults und die nahen Piraten der Fesselinseln. In der Folge
entbrennt ein Wettlauf durch den Dschungel hin zur Ruinenstadt, in und
unter der noch ganz andere Überraschungen lauern... im letzten Teil
hängt von den Abenteuern gar die Zukunft der Welt ab.
Welche Begleitprodukte zu Schlangenschädel wird es geben?
Es wird folgende Arten von Zusatzprodukten geben, die in Kombination
mit dem Abenteuerpfad ein Rundum-sorglos-Paket für Spieler und
Spielleiter bilden:

für die vor wenigen Jahrzehnten erst unabhängig gewordene Kolonie

An den entfernten Küsten eines
unerforschten tropischen
Kontinents streben mutige
Kolonisten danach, mit ihrer von

Like the British, the French share
the task of anti-tank defence
between the infantry and the artillery. While the infantry have their
CDAC, the artillery has a Batterie Divisionnaire Anti-Chars (BDAC), or
Divisional Anti-tank Battery, as the 10th Battery of the artillery
regiment. This battery has four platoons, each with two new 47mm
SA-37 anti-tank guns. Some reserve units still have old 75mm field
guns instead.

On 5 May 1940, France fielded 71
infantry divisions. Of these 20
were active divisions---seven motorised Divisions d'Infanterie Motorisée
(DIM), ten Divisions d'Infanterie (DI) marching on foot with horse-drawn
supporting weapons, three were mountain Divisions d'Infanterie Alpine
(DIA), and eight were colonial---four Divisions d'Infanterie Coloniale
(DIC) and four North African Divisions d'Infanterie Nord-Africaine
(DINA). The remaining 43 divisions were all reservists.
24 divisions were Type A, having most of their equipment, and 19 were
Type B, with older men, and lacking in equipment and officers. The
reserve divisions were placed in quiet sectors of the front. Unfortunately
for France, Sedan, where the Germans made one of their breakthroughs,
was deemed a quiet sector.
The French infantry divisions were easily the best equipped in the world
for First World War-style trench warfare. Every battalion had a resupply
section with Renault UE carrier. These could be used to carry or tow the
battalion's weapons into position across shell-torn ground under fire, but
more importantly, they could resupply the battalion under fire.
An infantry battalion consumes immense amounts of food and
ammunition, so every night in the First World War long columns of
soldiers make their way up to the front-line trenches, laden down with
supplies. Every night the battalion lost soldiers from these supply parties
to artillery fire. Now, with the Renault UE carrier available, supplies can
be delivered quickly and safely by an armoured vehicle.

another example of the French
infantry's perfect organisation for trench warfare.

The platoon has a small group of rifle grenadiers with the Tromblon VB
grenade launcher in the platoon headquarters to knock out machine-gun
nests, and three groupes (sections) of fusiliers-voltigeurs.
The demi groupe de fusiliers (shooters half-section) is the base of fire,
delivering a fusillade of shots from their MAS modèle 1936 bolt-action
rifles and the squad's Châtellarault FM modèle 1924/29 light machinegun. Under the cover of this fire, the demi groupe de voltigeurs
(manoeuvre half-section) vaults out of the trenches and sprints across No
Man's Land to assault the enemy trenches.
Most reserve divisions retained the old Berthier modèle 1916 rifle and
some even had the old Chauchat FM modèle 1915 light machine-gun,
but all had the excellent Tromblon VB grenade launcher.

In 1939 Hungary was searching for
a medium tank which they could
manufacture under licence. Škoda
offered the Hungarians the S-IIc, a
design they had been working on
and with further refinements the design become to be known as the
T-22.

Shown to the Hungarians in May 1940, an agreement was reach
between the two parties in August 1940, but before going into
production the Czech design went through a series of modifications.
These modifications included the alteration of the original two-man
turret into a three-man turret and the installation of a Hungarian built
engine.
Armed with the 40mm 41M gun which fired the same ammunition as
the 40mm 37M Bofors Anti-aircraft gun and two 8mm 34/40M
machine-guns, the first prototype of the Turán I was completed in
August 1941 and went into production in October that same year.
Delivering to the troops begun in the beginning of 1942 and they were
used to equip the 1. and 2. Armored divisions and the 1. Cavalry division
in 1942-43. However, the Turán I was hopelessly outclasses by the
Soviet T-34 and it was concluded that a minimum main armament of at
least 75mm in caliber was needed.
Such a version of the Turán was on the drawing board as early as 1941
and was originally intended as a support vehicle to the Turán I. Armed
with the short-barreled 75mm 41M gun, the new design become known
as the Turán II.
The Turán I and II continued to see heavy fighting during 1944 despite
their inferiority to Soviet armour of the time. Regardless of this fact, the
chassis of the Turán was used in the design of the Zrínyi II Assault gun
and was the basis of a design intended to mount the 75mm gun of the
German Panther.

Around the Flanks
Tarczay likes to get around the flanks of his enemy to catch them off
guard. Movement is the key to this and Tarczay always keeps his
platoons moving.
Tarczay and any platoon he has joined may choose to make a
Stormtrooper move (page 166 of the rulebook) instead of a normal
Huszár move (page 69).
This means you can shoot in the Shooting Step as normal and choose to
make a Stormtrooper move instead of assaulting in the Assault Step.
As Straight as an Arrow
Tarczay always fought from his open turret hatch and was able to direct
the fire of his gunners with skill and precision because of the excellent
visibility this provided.
Tarczay re-rolls misses with his tank's main gun.
Destroy those Anti-tank guns!
Tarczay seemed to be particularly good at taking out guns with his tank
tracks. Often an attack on a gun positions would end with Tarczay's tank
nested in the middle of the twisted wreckage of a Soviet gun line.
Tarczay may re-roll any failed saves when hit by a Gun team in
Defensive Fire during an Assault.

and recyclable parts, pilots collect resources and salvaged ship modules

Junkyard each player starts with a single module which holds up to two
of each resource: Energy, Carbone Ore, and Metal Alloy. Each turn

1. 33 Wood-shaped dark-brown
pieces. These wood tokens will be
of simple design but still look like a
piece of dark brown wood or a
branch from a tree (stick).
2. 27 dark red pieces. These will be
a brick and basically a "brick"
shape. It will work as a brick in most games, or could also be considered
a clay.
3. 15 light white counters. These generic white food or cat-tail markers
will be great for general token replacement. They will be fatter on the
bottom and skinnier on the top than the grain tokens but of a similiar
look.
4. 18 grey stone counters. They will have a granite/ dark gray color to
them.
5. 27 yellow wheat counters. These will be yellow like bundles and stand
up by themselves.
6. 18 orange carrots or food counters. These will look like carrots,
orange and just carrot shaped.
7. 36 additional food markers. These will be in 3 varieties, a simple
bread, 12 of these. Also 12 Fish tokens (wooden, fish shaped), and 12
chicken leg / drum stick shaped pieces of meat.
8. 20 Gold markers. These trapazoid shaped gold markers are great for
all those euro games that require gold of any sort. These will look like a
real gold brick in terms of shape and not a lame yellow cube like most
games have in them.
The total number of pieces then is 33 wood, 27 bricks, 15 white tokens,

So what can you do with this set? Many kids say they are very very
excited to play Farm with them, only with smaller, high-quality wooden
components. They will also be a good generic token replacement set, you
could use them for Stone Age, Powergrid, or just about any other "euro"
game. Use the wood to power your Powergrid factories! Use all of the
Stone, Gold and Wood for Kingsburg! Use these for Agricola! Try them
for any other game!

other warjacks would fall. The
sturdy repulsor shield is inlaid with
powerful runes that rebuke enemies and hurl them away from the
Revenger, where they can be cut down with the warjack’s heavy
polearm.
